    Petco is so unethical

  2. @lilly3920 on August 25, 2025 at 5:19 pm

This is somehow the worst catlitter I have ever used. We only bought it when we were obscenely poor and it made our lives a living hell. use the pine pellets everyone else is suggesting or buy ones in a paper bag/box (which is what I do. My cats do not like change and won’t use non clay cat litter.)

  3. @Kendra-i3w on August 25, 2025 at 5:23 pm

    This is true in mercedes

  4. @angeladukes4201 on August 25, 2025 at 5:23 pm

Ok so I need a good I mean very good clumping litter that has no dust and no smells and keeps your house from smelling like you have 10 litter boxes.. I have a diabetic cat and let me tell you she pees a lot and they are huge clumps so I have to clean the box multiple times every day. She is worth it and my male he is so helpful.

  5. @unscannable88 on August 25, 2025 at 5:27 pm

Cats eat meat. Why would u support having an animal that eats meat. Not sustainable. Teach ur cat how to shit on the toilet, unless ur too low IQ to figure that out.

  6. @savvysoul on August 25, 2025 at 5:29 pm

World’s best cat litter lives up to its name!

  7. @WillyMetal_.W on August 25, 2025 at 5:30 pm

im sorry THATS THE BIGGEST CAT LITTER IVE SEEN

  8. @GigiKoennecke on August 25, 2025 at 5:30 pm

How do you get cat food? 😊

  9. @laceymae223 on August 25, 2025 at 5:31 pm

We dont have these where I live sadly

  10. @dawnbarr on August 25, 2025 at 5:34 pm

We have the same at Petland ..it’s sooo dusty! I’m changing to pellets !

  11. @inciDavinci on August 25, 2025 at 5:36 pm

I wonder, don’t they usually come in these paper bags or cardboard boxes? The only litter I’ve ever seen here (I am German) is or was in a plastic bag. I used a litter made of fibers for one of my cats, which you could flush down the toilet. Unfortunately, my recent cat doesn’t like it, and she refuses pellets completely. Just the fine Bentonite litter 😒

  12. @tiff2106 on August 25, 2025 at 5:36 pm

Cat litter is packaged in 100% paper in Germany. I couldn’t fathom those big plastic cans! 😳

  13. @felicityb4949 on August 25, 2025 at 5:37 pm

Petco is easily one of the worst places to go where I’m from

  14. @KristinaAvila1031 on August 25, 2025 at 5:39 pm

Zero waste? 😂 it’s clay litter. That stuff isn’t biodegradable and it comes in the same plastic tubs.

You can get pine pellets in paper bags on tractor supply for like 4 dollars and a sifting liter box and it will last a lot longer and it’s easier to clean makes your house smell like a forest as long as you keep it clean.

  15. @Freddykittycat on August 25, 2025 at 5:39 pm

NO WAY! Omgosh, I’m gonna check that out!

  16. @spikeworks on August 25, 2025 at 5:40 pm

We just use litter from cardboard boxes. Easily recycled, and it doesn’t come in plastic tubs (like the litter in the refill station does, as said by the pet i employee earlier)

  17. @AlexandriaSmith-mq8oe on August 25, 2025 at 5:41 pm

The 0 waste option is actually letting them outside.
Train them to come back they do it.😮

  18. @joe_lee3 on August 25, 2025 at 5:41 pm

petco is also one of the worst for neglect and abuse of the pets they sell

  19. @TH-eb5ro on August 25, 2025 at 5:43 pm

Need details on this else we think it is greenwashing. Does the litter arrive at PetCo via reusable rice bags or similar?

  20. @IhsanAbbas-k4g on August 25, 2025 at 5:43 pm

    Where is it

  21. @hannahkelii on August 25, 2025 at 5:45 pm

Clay can get stuck in the paws easily 😢 I like the pet safe automatic litter box with a stainless steel tray, natural pebbles (and wasteful litter liners- what’s a girl with adhd and three cats supposed to do though? 🤣) also the breeze litter box is amazing… some day we will have decomposable bags and pee pads!

  22. @user-yy8rm1yf9y on August 25, 2025 at 5:45 pm

Also strange when it comes to hygiene… someone’s animal can be sick or what not and then you bring the plastic box and can contaminate it and spread something. With cats especially…

  23. @jj8CwkH on August 25, 2025 at 5:46 pm

Brit here and i have NEVER seen cat litter come in plastic bottles??? Ours usually comes in paper bags, and i usually buy the wood pellet kind anyway. Far less dust and usually cheaper. Has to buy it in a plastic bag for the first time ever the other day because i had just moved and was desperate, but usually the paper packaging is recycled.

I am baffled by the bottle. Baffled.

  24. @AOAvina on August 25, 2025 at 5:48 pm

Or get cat litter sold in cardboard boxes lol

  25. @atmika2756 on August 25, 2025 at 5:49 pm

You should try substituting with cocopeat it’s dry coconut husk and it’s super eco friendly

  26. @squidleyskidley on August 25, 2025 at 5:50 pm

Petco is terrible and cruel to their live animals. Please don’t support them!

  27. @LaylanDeven25 on August 25, 2025 at 5:50 pm

My litter comes in a box

  28. @lillianblack8749 on August 25, 2025 at 5:50 pm

The litter is terrible and makes any waste non biodegradable, cats get the dust in the it’s lungs and cause serious health issues plus the thing is filled from the same plastic bags. There are way better options like wood pellets that are safe for the cat and are way less wasteful and more eco friendly. Oko cat uses carboard boxes but if that’s too expensive there are options that a cheaper but they come in bags. This might be a fight plastic wins cause the clay is way worse then plastic. Made you could cut up the plastic bags from the wood pellet liter and weave into a reusable bag like that 2000’s trend?

  29. @lauran3244 on August 25, 2025 at 5:52 pm

Wouldn’t not owning invasive species and catering to its consumption be a more eco friendly move? 😂

  30. @celery4777 on August 25, 2025 at 5:53 pm

They just come in paper or paper like bags where I’m from

  31. @kittenclown9596 on August 25, 2025 at 5:53 pm

Where I’m from and where I work, it’s common to buy the food by the kilo :] if u bring a separate bag and ask if they can use that they’ll gladly fill it depending how much you want!

    Same goes for litter!

And, once the og bags of food are empty, we really use them for trash or to keep things in!

  32. @nikkyk4839 on August 25, 2025 at 5:54 pm

our cat litter comes in paper bags

  33. @gatomaniaDoc on August 25, 2025 at 5:56 pm

    Green washing

  34. @bobdobbs3848 on August 25, 2025 at 5:57 pm

A hack 50 lb bag of fireplace pellets are $3-$5ish dollars

Feline pine was something like $30 for 20lb bag.

Use mostly wood pellets sprinkle 1 scoop on top for pine smell.

  35. @NNothankyou on August 25, 2025 at 5:57 pm

While this is great in theory, approximately 2.5 million tons of non-biodegradable cat litter, primarily clay and silica-based, end up in U.S. landfills each year. You’re actually further harming the planet by continuing to use clay cat littler. Consider switching to a fine ground wood clumping cat littler. It’s soft, clumps well, very low dust, and my cats actually prefer it. We have three and no longer have amonia smells that clay litter progressively gets even with proper cleaning. I love the brand Okocat. Cheap and good quality.

  36. @misseselise3864 on August 25, 2025 at 5:58 pm

bestie that still produces waste, you’re just not the one producing it

  37. @user-nx3gj6hh1b on August 25, 2025 at 5:58 pm

Clay litter is terrible for the environment!!! Try walnuts shells or literal sand

  38. @jellybean13ct on August 25, 2025 at 5:59 pm

What does one do in the middle of no where usa where the closest big store like this is 4 hours away.

  39. @placek5482 on August 25, 2025 at 6:00 pm

But what would be the logic behind a catfood retail station? Even kibble goes bad after a while, they’d have to store it for a long time before refilling the tubs and buy in smaller quantities which wouldn’t safe much plastic usage and wet cat food wouldn’t even be safe

  40. @sippintea4570 on August 25, 2025 at 6:04 pm

I wonder if she knows having children greatly increases your carbon footprint

  41. @bully6652 on August 25, 2025 at 6:06 pm

Btw this is only for the sophresh brand. Not just any brand container.

  42. @dogs_101 on August 25, 2025 at 6:06 pm

I hate to burst your bubble, but it’s a great idea for the cat litter, but cat food that’s a different story cause you don’t
know what people could be doing with the food and then your cat ingesting it and they could get sick but the kitty litter is a great idea because it just gets thrown out and it’s not ingested

  43. @maramao6202 on August 25, 2025 at 6:06 pm

Use litter that comes in paper bags directly.

  44. @Sandstar942 on August 25, 2025 at 6:09 pm

Evrryone talks about the refilling here, but also clay cat litter is terrible, for environment and for cats.

Switch to wood, paper, or even dirt.

  45. @Amy_J705 on August 25, 2025 at 6:09 pm

    Pine pellets ❤️

  46. @Catlady77777 on August 25, 2025 at 6:09 pm

I wouldn’t trust Pet oabout this.

  47. @cliffdiver1942 on August 25, 2025 at 6:10 pm

If it’s PET CO It must cost more.

  48. @paobi864 on August 25, 2025 at 6:14 pm

Cat litter is horrible for the environment. You can’t find everything plastic “free” but you can educate yourself on better cat litter alternatives. Wood pellets, tofu, corn. There is soooooo many better options than clay.

  49. @alex_enbee on August 25, 2025 at 6:16 pm

Why on earth are you buying stuff from Petco? Petco is in a horrible organization that treats its animals terribly.

  50. @kazukispeach on August 25, 2025 at 6:17 pm

not only is this like the worst quality dog shit litter you can get but it’s also not eco friendly or waste less at all, you really think you’re gonna find anything zero waste at a multi million dollar corporation, they’re the ones producing all the waste in the first place !! the amount of waste those stores go through a day is probably equivalent to months of household waste. they are the ones that need to change and yall need to stop falling for their scams
