✔️ Each ingredient should be cooked separately for accurate measuring.

My dog won’t eat sardines or blueberries 😢

I have a shih tzu and want to transition to homemade foods. I see in this video you use the food processor and other videos the food is served whole to your dog. Is there a reason? Which is recommended? She is 8 pounds, 3 yrs old and is over her kibble. I have been giving scrambled eggs, chicken while I get a gameplan going forward. Also, kibble I gave 1/4 cup 2x daily, so would ‘real’ food be the same portion? One last Q – some of your videos have several supplements added and another video just used Annamaet Enhance – pet nutrition – please explain. I would like to find one instruction/recipe that is simpler that I can make up a batch, put a few days in the fridge and freeze the remaining in individual portions. Thanks for all your good info and look forward to your reply

Curious what food scale you have? Is it on Amazon as well?

Can I substitute ground venison for the ground turkey?

  5. @HAF-nv9dw on October 4, 2025 at 7:08 pm

Does it really need to be so complicated? Much more than cooking for humans, even

I have the same dog and food processor. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. I love to cook and have tried other recipes but never one from a Veterinarian. My dog’s name is Dixie. Is there anything that can be added to relieve itching.

  7. @williamkeith8740 on October 4, 2025 at 7:10 pm

Subscribed from outback Australia to see what I can give my working dogs.

My little senior tzu shih has hardly no teeth. Will the sardines be hazard to her since she can’t chew her food as well?

  11. @paintediva on October 4, 2025 at 7:20 pm

  13. @melaniekolomyja7335 on October 4, 2025 at 7:24 pm

We feed our dog Halo plant based dog food and she’s thriving.

  14. @VickiHale-ge3wo on October 4, 2025 at 7:24 pm

Where are the recipes. And supplement list???

  15. @sofialawson6881 on October 4, 2025 at 7:25 pm

Wondering if this can be frozen? I’m looking into home made dog food, and I’d like to make a large batch of each different recipe. Are there specific ingredients that cannot be frozen but can be added later?

  16. @crookedaxle on October 4, 2025 at 7:25 pm

    Why peel the eggs???

  17. @treasuretrovel3816 on October 4, 2025 at 7:25 pm

Soft boil the eggs instead so the yolks are not overcooked. No reason to destroy the vitamins and to oxidize the fatty acids. Also, I would recommend swapping out at least half that high glycemic sweet potato and replace with squash or just leave it out.

Does your site have one for mini schnauzer , low fat, low oxalate, no oil no synthetic vitamin- I used that supplement made my dog ill.

I’m a new pup mom and will be retiring soon so am interested in providing home made food. I use a subscription service currently but is not sustainable on a retiree’s income. Thanks for sharing, it was very informative.

My question is, you indicated the recipe for your 10 lb dog makes meals for 4 days. How often does your dog eat a day. My dog is also 10 pounds and is used to eating breakfast and dinner. Thx 😊

Do u have a recipe for blatter stones

  21. @debraszymczak5591 on October 4, 2025 at 7:31 pm

How much do you give your 10 lb dog a day (cup portion please??)

  22. @sfgal55 on October 4, 2025 at 7:32 pm

Awesome! I went through Nourish online and I liked it. However, I do not like balanceit program. It doesn’t even have red bell peppers in there and it’s frustrating to use. Are you using another program to balance your recipes? Do you offer creating recipes for your clients?😊

  23. @JoeysMagGoth on October 4, 2025 at 7:33 pm

    Thank you!
Will we get the same video for cats?

  24. @nancyk5203 on October 4, 2025 at 7:34 pm

Awww! Your dog looked so excited to get that meal! Thank you so much for making this video.

  25. @caysongreene2633 on October 4, 2025 at 7:35 pm

Once all combined in the food processor and then put it into large storage container – how do you then measure for one individual meal?

  26. @sharonwexler4912 on October 4, 2025 at 7:37 pm

Can you use cups, tbs., tsp for measurements

  27. @kumaquattro-le1vk on October 4, 2025 at 7:38 pm

QUESTION for Dr. Wolfe : Since dogs have no nutritional requirements for carbs, then why are you including them in your food ??

  28. @ryandennis7853 on October 4, 2025 at 7:40 pm

Was looking for more recipe ideas but also would it be faster to brown the protein and use the instant pot to cook everything, then food process your portions?

  29. @JTran860 on October 4, 2025 at 7:42 pm

Could you share the ratio of protein to fat and carbs? Thank you ❤

  30. @JRR100 on October 4, 2025 at 7:47 pm

Im sorry but this logically does not look anthropologically species appropriate. Dogs would never eat kale, summer squash ash and red peppers let alone sweet potatoes. This makes no sense. I am amazed at how all the online dog feeding expert cant see the rediculousness of their advice.

  31. @samanthabeger9115 on October 4, 2025 at 7:55 pm

Can you suggest other meal completers? The reviews don’t me feel good about the product.

  32. @GiselleBoss21 on October 4, 2025 at 7:56 pm

Unsure if I’ve ever seen kelp seeds here in Australia 🇦🇺 … so now I’m in a mission to find them ! .. Thanks Dr Wolfe
