You have to get your dog accustomed to the feel and sound of those dremel trimmers, the sound and vibrations freak some dogs out.
My boxer has never looked better
This is likely addressed in the longform video, but while a wire slicker brush is probably helpful for many dogs, it doesn’t work for *all* dogs. Dogs with shorter coats would benefit from different brushes, the super fluffy ones who blow out their undercoats probably need an undercoat rake to help with that, etc.
Talk to an experienced groomer about your individual dog for guidance!
make shure to use sharp clippers if you gonna use clippers
What about a dog without undercoat
Yep. One dog… two cats… wife, long hair, daughter, long curly hair. I’m balding , yet I have to brush and clean up hair that isn’t even mine. So much for low maintenance.
Shes wrongπ Do NOT use a wire brush on certain types of dogs that have short, more wire-haired type fur (like a wired hair dachund). Breeds that you should use wire brushes on include (but are not limited to) poodles and huskys, pomeranians and goldens.
"Brushing a couple minutes a day will keep the knots away!"
Looking at you, doodle owners ππππ
Keep your dogs on a leash whenever it’s obligated.
I have a GSD, and the Furminator is all I need. Twice daily. Three times daily when heβs blowing coat.

Lady sounds like a southern bellπ
OK a "wire brush" is fine for some coat types but a curry brush is more effective for the types of dog he usually works with
Hi
I just realized somethin’… Garret "cleans up good!" π€© How bout that grooming?ππ€£
For double coated dogs I would totally recommend an undercoat rake, helps a ton for GSDs in shedding season π
I much prefer the clippers to the grinder any day. Many dogs don’t like the feel ams sound of the grinder plus it takes longer to get the nails to where they should be. In my opinion, the clippers are quicker and do a better job as long as you know what you’re doing.
Me watching this with 2 short coat dog ποΈβοΈπ€
This list absolutely is not βthe top three tools youβre gonna needβ lolβ¦ how many dog breeds are there? And they ALL need these? Uhm no. Every coat is different and require drastically different brushes depending on the shedding, hair type, density etc. for instance, do I need a comb βto check my workβ for a pit bull? No. How about a slicker brush? No. You will however need a deshedding blade or curry comb.
If double coated like a shepherd undercoat rake without blades as well for when blow coat but i use the slicker and comb daily on my ling haired shepherd and leonberger
So I took my dog to the vet & asked for his nails to be clipped & was told it didnt need doing (although I thought they did need a little) they asked if he got walked on pavement alot & if so this was enough..
Sir you should make a video about your cane corso
I’ve got a question what about dogs Who don’t let you clip their nails
Thanks for sharing π
Just leave that one uncle in the room with it.
Sheβs gorgeous!!!
Tip corn starch is good at stopping the bleeding if you just barely cut too short.
Do short hair dogs need to be brushed? And do all dogs need their nils trimmed?? (Ive clearly never had a dog but hopefully one day)
Superglue in case you make a mistake π
did he just do the middle finger while he showed us the cordless idk
I swear this guy is the best at anything dog πΆ
