The WRONG Size Crate is Cruel #shorts #dogtraining

Finding the right size crate for your dog is incredibly important. Too big will lead to a lot of potty training issues and too small is cruel and unfair. Watch the full length video here:

So what do you do for large breeds. St. Bernards, Mastiffs, Great Danes, Those that hit at 100 pounds at six months but 150 fully grown?

I don’t have to be a trainer to see that torturing a dog isn’t the way to stop them from going to the bathroom which they do because they NEED TO GO or are extremely anxious, or have medical problems. I can’t believe you think this is okay. “Now you see, the cage is so small that now, the puppy doesn’t have room to use the bathroom anymore! Problem solved!” Wow. /srs

I don’t own a dog but my neighbors do they always have their dogs in the backyard or in the kitchen mostly never in the cage and these cages are actually cruel

So theoretically, If I had a corgi, does the height matter as much, as far as the crate not being too tall. Obviously the divider functions as a way to shorten the length of the crate but I’ve already gotten that down. Don’t know how much that matters

Can you put two dogs in a crate? Also dog beds. Is it encouraged?

  15. @svccvbi on September 28, 2025 at 7:18 pm

can i please ask your opinion on crate size, my concerns are my dog cannot put his head up right and his back barely touches the top of his crate while standing, also while he is sleeping on his side his arms and legs can stretch out fully but they are sticking out of the crate, i feel like he is outgrowing this crate and want to switch him to a 54in wire crate as his final because it is the tallest on the market right now and i believe he’d be more comfortable with that, he is 80lbs 18months and using one of those thicker aluminum crate that is sized 47L x 29W x 32H, he is old enough he doesn’t have potty accidents and loves sleeping in his crate, i just want to make it like a large bedroom for him essentially. I also don’t want to cause him any growing problems from being limited to not picking up his head and allow him to be stretched out without risking his paws outside his crate. thank you i hope you see this!

  18. @philliparguello8521 on September 28, 2025 at 7:28 pm

  19. @G.Harley.Davidson on September 28, 2025 at 7:32 pm

Seems too small with divider, dog cannot turn round. Large title obscures this.

  22. @EdwardSnowden-p2v on September 28, 2025 at 7:35 pm

A lot of idiot dog owners. Also if its 90 degrees outside do not take your dog walking in the sidewalk or street. Place the palm of your hands on the sidewalk or street on a hot ass day and see how that feels

  24. @Ghostitaa on September 28, 2025 at 7:35 pm

I made the mistake and my crate it’s to big but it was 10 bucks and the crate divider it’s like 25$
