Mine doesnโ€™t seem to care and will get cat litter everywhere if itโ€™s open..

  2. @coastalcoyote on December 17, 2024 at 4:29 pm

My problem is dogs getting into the litter box. I live in a one bedroom apartment, and there are no spaces I can put litterboxes that the dogs can’t get to. I am going to try to make something like a furniture piece to put the litterbox in, but with mesh or possibly acrylic sides. I don’t care about seeing a litterbox; I just don’t want my dogs to be able to get into it. There don’t seem to be any good solutions for that other than making sure the dog can’t get into the litterbox room, which isn’t always possible for people.

Dude I donโ€™t care I got him an enclosed box because he kicks out half the litter every time he uses it

  4. @Dave_Outside on December 17, 2024 at 4:30 pm

Maybe. Depends on the cat I think. Some cats are just more paranoid than others. we have a couple of cats that certainly donโ€™t care. They are ok going into an enclosed litter box. One of them actually prefers it over the other stander one.

Considered a bird but don’t want the noise.

    Fish are boring.

Because you’re a human and not a cat.

  14. @TheCline69 on December 17, 2024 at 4:45 pm

When why cats get jobs they can choose their toilets

  15. @Free-spirited91 on December 17, 2024 at 4:46 pm

Your cat wants a clean, big enough litter box. Period. I open and close the use the one that’s more clean regardless.

  16. @saturngamer1997 on December 17, 2024 at 4:47 pm

3 cats here, and all 3 use the enclosed litter box..
I was worried at first… Bye the way each cat has itยดs own litter box.

  17. @saskialolita on December 17, 2024 at 4:47 pm

Glad to finally see someone speaking the truth about enclosed/covered litter boxes!

  18. @sandragee4308 on December 17, 2024 at 4:47 pm

Plastic bin will do the same effect, $10.99 at WALMART

  19. @willywezlis on December 17, 2024 at 4:53 pm

yes but there is no predator in my house that my cat needs to be aware of

  20. @mattbarnett6902 on December 17, 2024 at 4:53 pm

Poor cat. He sprays litter everywhere in his high side enclosure, specifically towards the entrance, then exits over the side in a spray of litter, then tracks it up the hall on the wood floors. Enclosed box for him.

  21. @Letsallbekurtsversion on December 17, 2024 at 4:54 pm

Well then how am i supposed to get litter off the floor because i used to have an enclosed one and there was no litter and when i have one thats open theres litter every where and its made my house dirty

  22. @oceanez303 on December 17, 2024 at 4:56 pm

    PSA:I donโ€™t want a $200 litter box

  23. @WafflesWithWings on December 17, 2024 at 4:56 pm

My cat Hobbes loves the litter box with the lid on it

  24. @Goddess764 on December 17, 2024 at 4:57 pm

But my cat kicks her litter all over out of the box like crazy!

  25. @Henrylovesyou on December 17, 2024 at 5:01 pm

As long as they pee on the walls, they get an enclosed litter box. It’s not nice cleaning up pee from the WALL each and every time ur female cat goes to the bathroom.

The first time she got an enclosed litter box, she peed straight out the entrances ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Thankfully they don’t use standard clay litter, sobit doesn’t get very dusty inside it.

  26. @rammtastic on December 17, 2024 at 5:02 pm

Yeah, I’m gonna call b.s. on this one. It truly depends on the cat. They will go in either one.

  27. @RavenousYears on December 17, 2024 at 5:02 pm

Bro, my cat wonโ€™t shit in a box thatโ€™s open, but he loves his enclosed litter box

  28. @AllLiesAndCableTies on December 17, 2024 at 5:02 pm

Ok, you sound like youโ€™re selling aโ€ฆ oh wait you are

  29. @ABKZ8 on December 17, 2024 at 5:02 pm

I want a flying car but we donโ€™t all get what we want.

  30. @princessyona1546 on December 17, 2024 at 5:03 pm

Closed is better for the smell

  31. @SweatnCancer on December 17, 2024 at 5:03 pm

If my cat wasn’t such a dick who will look at me in the eyes then fling litter by the masses out of the box I wouldn’t need a enclosed the last straw was when I went to sleep and found my cat had kicked out every piece of litter cuz he thinks it’s a game and plays in the litter as well he was costing me few hundred dollars a month cuz I even tried one of those high side litter boxes and he still did it thank God for enclosed boxes

  32. @crystallovesion on December 17, 2024 at 5:04 pm

    The price is insane ๐Ÿ˜

  33. @YSLRD on December 17, 2024 at 5:05 pm

I use plastic storage totes. My big male pees standing up and needs high sides.

  34. @ddneq677 on December 17, 2024 at 5:05 pm

Too bad lol. After watching my cat hang her butt over the edge of an open litter box and poo on the floor, the deal was sealed ๐Ÿ˜‚. She doesnt seem to mind a hooded litter box. This one does look a little more convenient to clean though while also limiting the mess.

  35. @seenso on December 17, 2024 at 5:05 pm

If no enclosed litter box, cat go bathroom in wrong places. Why? you’d have to ask her ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ I need the hood to act as a bumper to keep her hiney in the right spot lol she has also stood on the side of the litter box with her hiney on the wrong side so I can’t use walls. It has to be a hood- she’s been like this since she was a kitten and she doesn’t mind the hood.

  36. @Forgetdaoldme on December 17, 2024 at 5:06 pm

This is great my neighbor is a predator, she should feel safer now!!

  37. @larryhobgoblin6172 on December 17, 2024 at 5:08 pm

with that logic, wouldnt the cat feel more safe with a majority of its surrounding being enclosed like bruh stfu

  38. @SareBear2000 on December 17, 2024 at 5:09 pm

Similar to what some of the people have been saying here, my cat prefers his closed litter boxes. I initially got him an open one as a kitten and he would dig out all the litter and even go outside of the litter box. So I got him a larger open litter box and he would do the same thing. I figured he thought this was a game so I got him a closed litter box and he went in there perfectly, never went outside the litter box ever again period and so I upgraded and got him another larger closed litter box and he never went back to the open one again so I just kept both closed the litter boxes.

  39. @KinnyWhoo on December 17, 2024 at 5:11 pm

I want them to be comfortable, but I ainโ€™t paying 200 dollars for a litter boxโ€ฆ Iโ€™m a 13 yr old who wants to buy an indoor cat but my parents are making me pay for it since I want it. SO I CANT BE DROPPING 200$ WHEN IM BROKE BUT WANT A CAT ๐Ÿ˜ญ

  40. @sabrina_doll on December 17, 2024 at 5:13 pm

My cat prefers an enclosed litterbox but i keep the flap open. He’s a very hidey cat so I think it ultimately depends on their personality

  41. @Drualeaf on December 17, 2024 at 5:14 pm

Cats do like some privacy. Like donโ€™t be standing there, staring at them doing their business. ๐Ÿ˜‚

  42. @kimkoons4535 on December 17, 2024 at 5:15 pm

my cat some how pees over the sides

  43. @Rokumi13 on December 17, 2024 at 5:15 pm

Bro that shit stinks fuck that

  44. @87clits on December 17, 2024 at 5:16 pm

No it’s because he peed up the back requiring the need for an enclosed litter box. You have no idea what you’re talking about.

  45. @amsdetailing on December 17, 2024 at 5:18 pm

I just spoke with my cat and he said he doesnโ€™t mind it

  46. @Mamamancs on December 17, 2024 at 5:19 pm

    Where to buy ?

  47. @kathyromeo8547 on December 17, 2024 at 5:19 pm

My cats don’t use enclosed box

  48. @elainamiller on December 17, 2024 at 5:22 pm

Just do what works specially for your cat.

  49. @placeholder7891 on December 17, 2024 at 5:22 pm

Well, when Mr. Kitty grows up and has a full time job and pays rent he can get his own apartment with an open litterbox ๐Ÿคฃ. Til then my apartment will not be smelling like feces thank you very much. Love how this is pitched as a ‘PSA’, how absurd

  50. @Randomynous01 on December 17, 2024 at 5:25 pm

I would make it half its length just to stop the litter from spilling outside
