Great video! Here I thought it was the Kong!
This is the first video of yours I found and I loved it! So much I subscribed, which is very unusual for me.
I can’t wait to watch more of your videos!

  2. @AlphagirlMae on May 4, 2025 at 10:24 am

It’s a waste. Had one and my dog was not even curious.

  3. @Sierra_sea_rose on May 4, 2025 at 10:24 am

So are we giving it multiple times a day? Like my puppy eats 3 times a day. Shes a giant dog breed prone to bloat. Would i give her 1 3 times a day? Or are we puting the whole days food in one?

  4. @llllllllllilillii on May 4, 2025 at 10:25 am

Thanks, my little dog does love his kong, but the one I bought is too small for your video. I’m going to go buy multiple bigger ones and COMPLETELY STOP *****FREE FEEDING***** HIM WHICH IS KEY TO YOUR SUCCESS and use this trick. I love the DON’T FEED THEM TIL YOU put their food for the day in it and that’s their crate time trick. I think people miss this step and free feed or bowl feed their dogs then wonder why this doesn’t work. This will solve his freaking out every time I head for the door. Awesome thanks! My little guy is so smart and he loves learning how to be confident and independant and this will help I can’t thank you enough!

Thanks for this great video! My puppy loves it, and it’s given me some stress-free time to work while he’s happily enjoying his Kong in his playpen. I suspect it helps him cool down on warm summer days in South Africa, too! Great idea.

  6. @ilTHfeaa on May 4, 2025 at 10:30 am

i got one for my dog for after her surgery bc she loves cream cheese and she’s gonna be pretty isolated and on low activity for a few days. She hasnt had a kong since she was a puppy so it’s gonna be so fun for her. I plan on stuffing it with some kibble, a treat or two, and then a lil bit of cream cheese to intrigue her to begin with (she LOVES cream cheese)

  7. @Nyoon-o8o on May 4, 2025 at 10:31 am

I might be asking a stupid question, but do you need to thaw the stuffed kong before giving it to the dog?

  8. @amandamills6181 on May 4, 2025 at 10:34 am

Good information, but the background "music" is maddening & way too loud. The ear I’ve lost some hearing in hurts.

Anything can be a dildo if you’re brave enough.

  10. @michaelmckenna9022 on May 4, 2025 at 10:35 am

With my Sheltie. Training her is like instantaneous, she is beyond smart. The problem is she is too smart and does whatever she wants to do. She loved her toys and maybe that may be the path to an obedient dog.

  11. @charliemiller1934 on May 4, 2025 at 10:36 am

Hi Ian, I wish I had seen this before I got my puppy who is now 5 months old. Is it too old to start Kong training? I will go back to work soon and she is great I have trained to be on her own and she loves playing on her own but for a few hours. I think this is fantastic and will give it a try.

  12. @coffeebreak4108 on May 4, 2025 at 10:36 am

  18. @jeriannmahnich on May 4, 2025 at 10:42 am

    I’m still looking for a non-messy option.

  19. @edim108 on May 4, 2025 at 10:43 am

It honestly makes me a little bit angry how well it works bc it’s always been a PAIN, especially with puppies, before I got a Kong like toy.
You really need to do something but your dog needs something to do? Kong.
You have problems teaching your puppy that they won’t immediately die if they’re left alone for a couple minutes? Kong.
Your dog is bored and starts chewing on stuff. Kong will help with that. It’s designed to be chewed on!
You obviously still need to spend time with your dog and you need other ways of playing, but Kong makes life so much easier.

  20. @lisapantelogiannis6126 on May 4, 2025 at 10:43 am

I love the Kong treat holder and I used it to introduce carrots as treats. Also when leaving our puppy home alone I use it as a distraction so separation anxiety is not happening and we have a happy pup also the house is not destroyed and we have a happy house.
    Thanks!❤

  21. @larbueno on May 4, 2025 at 10:44 am

Great video! Really helpful information for how we can actually use our Kong toys for something more than just one of the few toys that our 2 puppies😊randomly will play with. Good presentation but damn that music just absolutely sucks and is too loud. I’m pretty sure I can’t be the first person thinking that way cuz it just robs from your voice’s clarity. Anyway everything else is wonderful here.

  22. @wnhlwntk on May 4, 2025 at 10:45 am

We just got our 3 mth old miniature Schnauzer four days ago. She came with kibble that she was used to, but doesn’t eat unless coaxed. Wouldn’t putting her kibble with water, frozen, be just as uninteresting to her? She loves small pieces of American cheese that I give her as a reward for going potty outside. Should I use that?

  23. @Nielsplaysmusic on May 4, 2025 at 10:45 am

KONG IS LIFE. I started this week giving her a frozen Kong filled with pb, oatmeal, pumpkin and some kibble. She cracked out on it for 3 hours. I work from home and she definitely gets bored when I can’t give her attention. She had an isolation anxiety meltdown last weekend and I was able to go out the front door with her this week and she didn’t even notice once she was fully immersed in the Kong. This stupid rubber butt plug thing is going to be a lifesaver! 😂

  24. @mmoore8020 on May 4, 2025 at 10:46 am

Hi. My dachshund always seems to chew distroy balls. So i got him a Kong. But hes trying to destroy this as well. How can i stop him doing this ?

  25. @suzetteyoungblood6887 on May 4, 2025 at 10:48 am

We just brought home our Great Pyrenees puppy. Picked up 2 Kong toys but didn’t want the filler because of the crummy ingredients. This video is so helpful and I’ll definitely be trying it as we are in the process of crate training her..and she doesn’t like it one bit lol Thank you and I’m subscribing to your channel. Suzette

  26. @ethanculbreth2466 on May 4, 2025 at 10:48 am

my dog despised their KONG and REFUSED to touch it no matter what was inside. it is the ONLY chew toy I have ever had to discard because he HAAAAAAAAAATED IT. (Dunno if it was the rubber smell or what)

  27. @tocafish on May 4, 2025 at 10:51 am

Yo…the intro to this video is wild.

  28. @jessicaalpert783 on May 4, 2025 at 10:58 am

Just rescued a 10month Catahoula/Australian Shepherd mix and he barks for hours in his crate (we check him from a camera). We just bought a Kong for this reason, so glad I found this video, never thought to use plain ol’ kibbie!

  29. @Khamzatchimaev-os7uj on May 4, 2025 at 10:59 am

    Can I give this a puppy to ? A Frozen kong ?

The hole is too small my dog can’t get any food out of it

  32. @austinhoover1892 on May 4, 2025 at 11:01 am

Amen to this. I can’t count how many dogs behaviors I’ve fixed or reduced by this tactic. People always hate hearing it or don’t want to but it’s true.

  33. @hazelwalshaw3761 on May 4, 2025 at 11:01 am

Just filled my pups kong with his dog kibble and water and it’s in the freezer. Ready for lunchtime crate training! Great info.

  38. @geraldinetaeckens5873 on May 4, 2025 at 11:07 am

Love the video! I have a very, very, very active seeing-eye dog a Labrador, who never wants to stop moving. She’s an excellent guide dog but crazy of the loon at home. At the guide dog school, they taught me to take a large Kong put a rope through it tie a knot around it and then have a long piece of the rope to hold in your hand with a knot at the end and she loves that toy. She will even take the rope herself and shake it and hit herself in the face with a Kong get mad at it throw it and attack it. She’s hilarious but it’s her favorite toy and it’s the weight and the strings of the rope and the Kong that allow her to use it safely without any danger of her eating. Thanks for the food ideas. I use them all the time. 7:35

Many years ago, we had a houseful of dogs, 6, 3 labradors, a springer, a cocker and a little staffie. Organised chaos reined, one day we were going out all day so my sister, who herself had had dogs previously and my elderly father in law volunteered to house/ dog sit for us, we filled all the songs so if things got to much, a calm timeout could be achieved. This was before mobiles, so we couldn’t phone regularly to check all was OK. When we got home all was well apart from our relatives stated that they gave the dogs the songs and all the dogs got frustrated??, how any why we asked, worrying that something awful had happened. My FIL stated the dogs played with the songs but kept leaving them because they could not get the food out!!. Great we said, No said my FIL, we had to use a knife to get the food out. Whe we told them that was the idea, when the penny dropped, there was 2 very embarrassed faces looking back at us and 6 happy dogs who got all the food, 😅😊

  40. @liamstone3437 on May 4, 2025 at 11:09 am

I haven’t found a dog food my Border Collie likes yet. She will starve in hope that something from a human plate will come to her. Even canned food that seems human-like does not tempt her.

  41. @SuperMascolino on May 4, 2025 at 11:09 am

    is this a kong advertisement???

  42. @industrialstr242 on May 4, 2025 at 11:13 am

I love this idea, but I must be missing something and feel like my puppy will starve using this method. He simply works at the kong until tired and gets hardly any of the food. I am obviously not going to let him go hungry and am working him with his kibble and treats, but I wonder if others have this result? He’s a golden and about 12 weeks old. I guess I need to use them loose and not wet – missed that part on first view.

  43. @tocafish on May 4, 2025 at 11:13 am

double entendre – a word or phrase that can be understood in two different ways, one of which is usually suggestive or inappropriate.

  44. @marywalczak5001 on May 4, 2025 at 11:14 am

The problem with them, why I’ve not bought them for my five dogs, is that what they’re made of is toxic. It’s evident by how they smell.

  45. @chelle2244 on May 4, 2025 at 11:16 am

I don’t feed my dogs kibble, so what else can I use?

  46. @lindasapiecha2515 on May 4, 2025 at 11:18 am

  47. @SusanFreiboth on May 4, 2025 at 11:18 am

My dog ignores the Kong if he is in his crate. He has broke a few metal pegs on his kennel. He grabs whatever his foot can & shreds it. Or he howls till I get back.

  48. @CriticalThinker911 on May 4, 2025 at 11:20 am

Great tips! Finding your videos now… The only thing is I don’t feed my dogs kibble. They get fresh food such as Nom Nom so I might try using the treats that I use for training for them!

  49. @xIshayx on May 4, 2025 at 11:20 am

My dog just gets frustrated and barks in his crate with the kong. If I have to go somewhere he just waits till I get home and let him out and eats it when he’s out of the crate. He knows how to use it but he seems to not like it in his crate. Not sure on what to do, I’ve tried a lot of things with crate training.

  50. @Likeneverexist on May 4, 2025 at 11:20 am

My dog ate it and he got really sick
