Thanks for sharing this with us..have a wonderful day ❤❤❤❤

I’ve been using Sustainably Yours for 6 years, the entire time I’ve had my cat. It is the best litter I have tried. No smell, no dust, clumps well. It is on the more pricier side, but not too ridiculous. I will never understand scented litter because cats generally hate strong smells.

  3. @TheDopekitty on May 18, 2025 at 11:58 am

I use recycled newspaper pellets and I think they’re great!

  4. @Ciesiam on May 18, 2025 at 12:00 pm

I prefer tidy cats scented and not lightweight. Tidy cats has always been a staple and because the sent it’s wonderful. The reason I don’t care for the light weight formula is because my cat will kick it out too easily and has tipped over his sandbox. Anything to add weight to his litter box means I don’t have to be too concerned about him flipping it over again.

We use World’s Best Litter … scoop and flush! Who wants to store 💩 in their home and garbage!

my boys don’t like clumping litter .. 🙀😼

I wonder if those brands that have corn in them if the corn is GMO? I’d worry that it is and the cats get this in their paws and even in their mouth when cleaning! And I would NEVER by anything from Purina. They’re terrible.

  8. @carenbouchard4305 on May 18, 2025 at 12:09 pm

I really HATE ARM AND HAMMER. CHEAPER does not last and change twice as fast as Fresh Step..So much better…I do rescues, and use Crystal’s lasts twice as long as others..

  9. @jeffffro7674 on May 18, 2025 at 12:13 pm

I was particularly broke one week and had to get the most weight with the cheapest price….enter, uggghhhh! Walmar…..I think we know!
A brand called ridiculous “special kitty” does NOT do anything to make me think they like my cats! The very hard clumps and dirt cheap price does however, 40 pounds for less than 15 dollars!
With 7 furballs I need to fill quite a few boxes! My belief is the FIRST line of defense in keeping a healthy cat is a clean box. VERY CLEAN!!!!
My active 21 yo orange tabby Cinnamon tells me I’m doing something correct. He’s the fourth I’ve had over the years to surpass the 20 year mark. 😊 Who doesn’t like the idea of 20+ years with someone who loves you?

  10. @gungadinn on May 18, 2025 at 12:13 pm

Worlds Beast is OK, however they made a change to the litter close to a year ago, that IMO isn’t as absorbent as the older version. The old bags were vacuum sealed red bags, while the newer version is in the white bags and free filled.

In some respects, I’d like to have a catio so the cats could use the great outdoors as their litter box.

I used the crystal cat litter, scooping the box daily. One day the cat that used that box had diarrhea painting the side of the box. When I dumped the box to clean and scrub, there was liquid on the bottom that was un-absorbed urine that was the worst smell ever. After that, no more crystals.

  11. @ameliawarfield5637 on May 18, 2025 at 12:14 pm

I use Arm and Hammer Double Duty scoopable cat litter. Sorry it’s not on the list.

    Clumping liter.

  14. @danaoneill8695 on May 18, 2025 at 12:18 pm

‘you didn’t mention Tidy Cats Breeze litter system. This to me is the best since you only scoop solids once a day and change pads once a week. Full litter change once a month. No heavy bags to lift and little to dispose of.

  15. @patriciaharrison on May 18, 2025 at 12:19 pm

I use Tidy cat litter, and when I can afford it, I use pretty litter because it seems to last longer than the regular litter because I only have one cat!!

  16. @timmcchesney46 on May 18, 2025 at 12:20 pm

Where can I get dust free clumping??

  17. @jeffffro7674 on May 18, 2025 at 12:22 pm

As for the “pretty litter” I am currently aware of my cats health. I watch the litter carefully, even clay will give you signs of needing a vet visit. Then I DO visit the vet often! It took almost half my life to find the veterinary clinic in KC that I trust with my OWN life, let alone my pets!!! Dr. Goodman is the one who runs the clinic although he isn’t the only doc on staff. He DOES however, hire extremely skilled staff who care about animals as much as you want them to considering you have to trust them quite a bit!
I feel like the price point of the fancy health litters is so high that after buying it for a year, you could have taken your cats to MONTHLY vet visits and still saved a bit of coin!!! There just is no substitute for a veterinarian you can trust to have you and your pets best health at heart. Some can be expensive, but hey, it’s the 21st century and it’s extremely easy to learn ANYTHING you want! Start studying veterinary care!!! I was actually allowed to participate in a spay surgery for two of my girls!! FIND A VET YOU LIKE!!! They’re out there…..

Cats Pride is the best I have ever had.

  19. @ByGrace09 on May 18, 2025 at 12:23 pm

I just switched my cats from pine pellets to the Dr. Elsey’s Ultra Unscented Clumping featured in this video. I’m so glad I did! They had no trouble making the change and even seem to prefer the new litter (I’ve still got their old pan/litter nearby to see what they’d do and it has only been used a handful of times while the new pan with Dr. Elsey’s is definitely getting much more use!) The smell is much better than the pine; as the pine pellets break down into sawdust, the odor is still there. Even if you punctually scoop and sift, if your cats dig in the litter and uncover the grates (like one of mine does…) the smell comes back at you through those grates. With the Dr. Elsey’s litter, there hasn’t been any odor!!! There is still a little tracking–my cat that likes to dig also manages to bring a lot of litter with her when she jumps out of the box. It’s still better (imo) than stepping on the large pellets that she’d also manage to scatter on the floor when jumping out of her old box. I haven’t noticed much dust at all. I have seen a small cloud in videos when people initially pour it into the pan, but I only poured a little bit of the 40 lb bag in and then scooped the rest of it into the pan, so that hasn’t been an issue. My family travels a few times a year and in the past it has been a nightmare coming home to the litter pan. (Yes, we have cat sitters, but for some reason none of them get the litter box right and I always come home to a mountain of stinky sawdust–yuck!) I’m hoping this does the trick!

Overall, I am so happy that we made the switch!!!

Dust free clumping !! I need this !

  21. @seniorshealth_365 on May 18, 2025 at 12:26 pm

    Dust free clumping……need it

  22. @SuperLazyGarfield on May 18, 2025 at 12:30 pm

I use the World’s Best Cat litter unscented. Easy to scoop and flush. Also safer if they accidentally ingest some since I have a medium-haired cat and a kitten that initially ate the litter😅. Found a trick to it but she stopped soon and they’re both happy using it.

  23. @littlekahli2781 on May 18, 2025 at 12:30 pm

    I use fresh step….

  24. @anglenawaller5322 on May 18, 2025 at 12:32 pm

I use Tidy Cats Lightweight Unscented clumping litter. The multi-cat works great at odor control as my son and I both have a cat and although we have several litter boxes, the two cats share. No odor problems at all and it makes scooping easy and cleaning the entire boxes not too heavy to carry out and down the stairs to toss in the trash. Except when I was alone with my cat and used the silica gel litter, I’ve never been able to find any clay litters that are completely dust-free or that doesn’t track some.

  25. @allabouthecats on May 18, 2025 at 12:34 pm

    Thanks for the recommendation ❤

  26. @gsdalpha1358 on May 18, 2025 at 12:38 pm

5 cat household here, with 3 large litter boxes and a Litter Robot. The Litter Robot uses Tidy Cat Lightweight. The others use whatever’s on sale, tbh, with two exception: (1) store brand labeled "Special Kitty". It does NOT clump and so there’s a thousand little pebbles to try and scoop. Another pet store brand which was "triple scent – for some reason, one of our cats had a reaction to it resulting in persistent UTI’s. She’d never had a UTI before and never again after we threw out that litter. It was the only change in her environment, so whether it was the cause or coincidence, IDK. Better safe than sorry. We used a paper pellet cat litter for a 4-week old kitten just getting the hang of a litter box. We’ve had very young kittens try to taste clumping litter before! They’re like human toddlers that way! Impossible to scoop pellets so we used the bag up quickly. Unscented litter is good but we add baking soda rather than pay the extra for it to be in the litter to begin with. To help with odors, wash your litter box: we do that in the Spring and late Fall. Scrub it out a cup of water with a tablespoon of plain bleach, rinse well, and let it sit in direct sunlight to dry. The sun will dissipate any bleach odor, and the UV kills germs. Spread a thin layer of baking soda in the litter box before adding litter. Sorry for the long post: we’ve had cats/kittens for 60 years, rescued and rehomed dozens, and care for a feral/homeless cat colony. Four of our inside cats were feral orphan kittens, and one is a rescued street cat. p.s. Never heard of Dr. Elsey’s but checking to see if it’s at our local pet store. Thank you!

My cat’s litter box gets changed at least once per day. He’s actually quite finicky and will start screaming when he has to use his litter box and has taught me that I better change it or else. 😂

  28. @barbaracholak5204 on May 18, 2025 at 12:40 pm

Off subject what about PDZ for ammonia odor control. Product is used in horse stalls, why not for cat litter box.. What
    do you think Purring Journal?

  29. @Nannerchan on May 18, 2025 at 12:41 pm

    Gel litter is best.

  30. @sirenknight8007 on May 18, 2025 at 12:43 pm

I think manufacturing varies. I used to swear by Tidy cats, then hated it and switched to Dr Elseys. I used to love it but quality control crashed during the pandemic and it sucked BAD, it was more like sawdust!. A&H did the same thing. I really haven’t been super happy with anything since the pandemic. My cats are too big, messy for robo boxes. Agree with another poster on box cleaning methods. I’m currently using a mix of silica and clay (both fresh step I think). For lightweights I found it’s best to mix them with something else.
