Jst want to say thank you for all your love and advice. Without your love for animals you wouldn’t be able to push thru all the haters out there. And no matter how much we try to let it go, it sometimes still gets under our skin. So thank you for helping me keep my pets healthy the best way possible, without all the garbage they push

    Is this for heart worms?

  6. @LizbetPCB on December 17, 2024 at 4:31 pm

I always keep food grade diatomaceous earth on hand!
I sprinkle some in and around our catio, and on the rugs and mats at our feeding station for our small colony of cats since I can’t touch them to keep ticks off.
It’s a really good, inexpensive, and effective product to keep on hand if you have pets or pests.
Dr. Jones, what would we all do without you and the knowledge you share so freely!

Thanks for the great advice, Doc, as always! Should I mix DE with food, or with water for cats?

  8. @donnagarner6007 on December 17, 2024 at 4:34 pm

Can I give it to cats?

  9. @mjrussell414 on December 17, 2024 at 4:35 pm

People can ingest it too for parasites and bacteria overgrowth.

  13. @dgcren9344 on December 17, 2024 at 4:47 pm

  14. @Xposetruth on December 17, 2024 at 4:49 pm

DO NOT BUY THE KIND FOR POOLS AT HOME DEPOT. Will kill your dog. FOOD GRADE ONLY!

  16. @jbarron4596 on December 17, 2024 at 4:53 pm

Is the food grade Diatomaceous Earth harmful if ingested by humans? What problems would it cause if a person did accidentally ingest it ? Asking for a friend.

Help our 18 month old Golden Retriever was house trained but it was hard work. Now he has decided to open his bowels once a day indoors in the morning. This is after coming indoors where he has gone to the loo. It’s always in the place he went as a young puppy. I don’t think he likes going to the toilet if the grass is wet. Any ideas on how we can stop this. There is no use telling him off as we never catch him. He seems to be able to do this in seconds and he knows it’s wrong. He acts all dejected with no bounce.

  29. @Latrelle59 on December 17, 2024 at 5:06 pm

What do you mix it with? Just mix it in their food? I just answered my own question !!! 😊

  30. @Reaper32c on December 17, 2024 at 5:06 pm

I have a rescue pitbull that tested positive for heartwarms. What natural method will kill heart worms effectively

  31. @sandrachamberlain7957 on December 17, 2024 at 5:07 pm

    Be sure it’s food grade!

  32. @mouse9884 on December 17, 2024 at 5:08 pm

Ours love this! We have a small pack and all I have to say is "Dirt alert" (which ill be honest is fun to say) and they come running to get their share. 65+lb dogs all running to you for a dirt treat πŸ˜‚
Learned about it growing up around cattle and horses. We used it in their feed to prevent worms.

  33. @GodsBlessingPS91 on December 17, 2024 at 5:09 pm

Dogs, humans, horses, goats, chickens…but don’t feed DRY, it can get breathed into the lungs.

  34. @rosieeye6812 on December 17, 2024 at 5:10 pm

That stuff is amazing and are we just gonna skip over the fact that you said YOU had worms??
    Ew
    Lmao

  36. @sassysandie2865 on December 17, 2024 at 5:11 pm

How do you know if your pet has worms? Would rather not go to the vet unless necessary.

  37. @Ghost_png_ on December 17, 2024 at 5:12 pm

Would this work for heart worms I wonder

  38. @gloriafelicianomoore on December 17, 2024 at 5:13 pm

My Yorkies and Shih Tzu are 5 -8 lb wondering if it would be upsetting to their tummy they’re so sensitive. I wanted to start Deworming.

  39. @xanadu1jw on December 17, 2024 at 5:13 pm

I wish he had mentioned that you need to wet it or mix it with food because some people would try giving it dry which will be damaging to the pet’s lungs.

  40. @jensrobertberntsson7210 on December 17, 2024 at 5:13 pm

    How do you administer it?

  41. @sanchezwifey6036 on December 17, 2024 at 5:15 pm

would you suggest this over your recipe of ground pumpkin seeds or in addition to? thanks DocπŸ’œ
