Served Its Purpose As a Cat Barrier for Two New Pals
Purchased “Like New”–as described. Easy to use–no assembly needed other than measuring door width and sliding the locking pin into place. High enough to make cats, at least old ones, feel like it wasn’t worth jumping over. Both were afraid of each other so jumping the gate was probably the last thing on their minds. Still, you should always supervise because your cat might hop over it. For the value, it was great. I’m pretty sure that I can pass this along to a friend or a shelter. Not sure if it is strong enough for an active dog, though. Not sure how strong it will be when it is fully extended. Also, the metallic rattling might stress animals with high anxiety. If you set it up before the meeting, you should be fine. The cats are almost gate free thanks to this great gate.
