Can cats eat the dog greens??
I have a dog with chronic kidney failure. Thank you very much, Dr. Judy. I’m learning so much from you to help my dog.
I own my own grooming studio and do not require vaccines. Because of that I have no room to add any clients though. Another service that is provided to clients is I only groom one clients pets at a time. If they have one dog, I groom it then they pick up or they can sit in an area I provide and wait. If they have more than one pet then they can leave them all.I make my next appoint after I have done a deep clean. The number of pets I have that are vaccine injured and have autoimmune problems is amazing. I treat their pets like I treat my own pets.
Iโm looking for a groomer near Cleburne Tx, very easy dog to groom, no bad vices
Thank you for empowering us to speak up for our older fur babies. ๐พโค

I live in Yelm WA and my groomer doesn’t require vaccines and for dogs like mine that need extra special attention (my girl has incontinence) among other issues they do what’s called an in-and-out for $10 more and she’s not there more than 2 hours!!! Love this!!
That was GREAT, Dr. Judy!
Great topic, good recommendations. Thank you for this.
Thank you!
Its just so much! I dont think i can find all this in my area or if i could afford it all.

I hated when we would vaccinate pets with Cushing or diabetes..they are not healthy pets..
Hello Dr Morgan, amazing, I recently discovered you and love what you are advising. It was through your channel I found out about the pet food industry and through the dietitian you have on.
Anyway I have a 131/2 yr old mini Aussie and he is pretty healthy but in last number of months is developing the slight clouding of his eyes and has definitely been losing his hearing. (POI he was diagnosed with Addisonโs disease when he was 5 and has been on Florinef since and blood work for that is always good). By watching your show I switched from kibble to Carna4 nuggets since last March. Heโs pretty active at least 2-1 hour walks a day. He is a little slower and the eyes and hearing declining. I am thinking of trying Camelina Oil for canines by Smart Earth. Itโs an omega 3 etc supplement. Have you heard of it?
Thank you Dr. Judy!!
Have been grooming for 40 years. Never asked owners for proof of vaccines. My dogs received required vaccines when puppies.

Vaccines have never been proven to prevent the disease. It is just a hypothesis that was sold to the medical profession and is based on bad science. Show me the definitive long terms studies that have been done without bias (in other words, an impartial 3rd party) and I may change my mind. Antibodies do not mean that you are protected. Antibodies are formed in relation to encountering a foreign substance. It signals the immune system cascade to start. It means that the body has seen it before. It does not mean that just because it has seen it before you are automatically protected, especially if it is not natural immunity. Natural immunity may impart some protection on certain diseases. And then again, there are others that it does not impart immunity to such as German measles (which you can get several times). And this is probably true in the animal kingdom also.
I agree
13:45 I understand that a good digestive system is key to extracting nutrients out of food, for any animal (4 or 2 legged).
But one thing I’m foggy about is the need for DAILY supplementation of probiotics. I understand that any being on or having been through antibiotic treatment will need plenty of supplementation to build back gut health.
But under normal conditions, on no medications, why are daily probiotics needed for good gut health?
Animals and people don’t flush out all their gut flora with every poop, do they?
Please help me "get it" on the subject of probiotics.
My dog that’s 12 has a 2 tumors that are being removed in a few weeks and there forcing me to get a rabies
If only we could get a titer without having to pay hundreds of dollars. Last time I titered it cost me over $300!
Thank you Dr. Judy Morgan! โค
Probably "preaching to the choir" here, but here goes.
Freeze-dried is how I got my two cats off kibble. I used it unhydrated at first, and also very small amounts (little snacks twice a day) as well as two wet food meals. I used to free feed kibble and one wet food meal a day.
I found out how dehydrating all dry food is and how important it is for cats especially to get their hydration mostly from food. This goes for ALL cats (dogs, too) and most especially seniors. (Cat mom here so limited knowledge about dogs.) Senior cats are more prone to Urinary Tract issues, like crystals, UTIs, CKD. But can get at any age. So if feeding dry, add hydration, or hydration rich food to it, as Dr. Judy suggested.
So I started feeding the freeze dried raw rehydrated as meals. If you think freeze dried is too expensive, consider that when rehydrated, it’s more food. In other words, 1 oz of dry freeze dried + 3 oz of water = 4 oz of food. That’s what is recommended for Steve’s for instance, which is now available on Dr. Judy Morgan’s site, too. I bought! It says right on the 20 oz bags equals 5 pounds of food!
My cats like their rehydated freeze dried meals. In the rotation. So no longer feeding dry food meals or snacks.
I did get some dry treats for them. Haven’t used yet. Going to use occasionally to get them to be more active. They’re indoor/outdoor cats and they’re more active outside. But my almost senior cat, ten, isn’t as active as my five year old. So she could use some encouragement. However, I’ve got to say that she’s friskier now that she’s not eating kibble! More energy! ๐
Have patience and perseverence. Hope transitioning like this will work for you! โค
Thank you so much Dr Judy!!!!
Hi, Dr. Judy. May I trouble you to explain/list exactly why kibble is bad for your elderly dogs? How heavy metals found in โnaturalโ pet food can impact seniors? (Lead, aluminum, arsenic, barium, chromium, selenium). Thank you! Members Mark/Diamond Pet Food
