It is elegal to let your dog stick his head out of the carrier during the flight qnd even worse to take him out complety. I let my small dog stick his out of her carrier during the flight and got into a huge problem with the head pilot. I have to fly with her in a year from Rome to Washinton, D.C. and I have no idea what I will do my dog has a massive fear of cages or carriers even when sedated.

What if the dog needs to pee whilst in the terminal and or in the Aircraft ?
How do you mange this eventuality ?

  3. @arrivagabry on October 22, 2025 at 7:46 pm

if your dog has to go under a seat they should not pay at all. it is treated like hand luggage and you don’t pay for hand luggage that you put under your seat. the weight is 10 kg including the carrier and food, in order to fit it under a seat the dog will never be standing comfortably, that is a joke. I have flown from Italy to NY with a 4 lb dog, on the way over I had no problem keeping him on my lap, on the way back the flight assistant (woman) insisted I put the dog in the carrier, it was night and he was having panic attacks and disturbing the passengers, she said she didn’t care, so I put the dog on my lap anyway and covered him with my blanket, he calmed down and slept the entire flight, the attendant never noticed him under my blanket. I am NOT going to allow my dog to he scared to death because of stupid rules!

Hi, thats a great video there, very informative thanks. However, was the head brushing or touching the top of the crate? Did the airline care? Thank you

Hi! Great video thanks so much for sharing this is definitely useful! I heard you mentioned in the video that Sami travelled to Greece? Wanted to ask if you have any experience with Aegean airlines. I have a cavapoo dog that is very similar size to Sami. My dog is 6-7kg and it can be argued that he cannot turn comfortably in the carrier, since this is a requirement by most airlines. How did you manage to convince them or work around this requirement, having a bigger dog that is close to the limit? Thank you! 😊

You won’t be able to do this on any flight into the UK, by Law. They have to be flown as Cargo in an IATA approved crate, which is not cheap! The only exception is a recognised assistance dog like a guide dog for blind people. The UK does not recognise "Emotional Support Animals".

  14. @svetlanah7671 on October 22, 2025 at 8:04 pm

How do you get cdc approved before your flight? I heard it’s very stressful and letter might not arrive on time? I’m planning to go outside of USA with my 7 lbs dog. And yes, I think he needs to be on a diet. Thank you for your video.

  15. @lbj1252 on October 22, 2025 at 8:04 pm

Yes, your information is misleading as well as wrong. You don’t have to chip your dog to fly and you can vaccinate your dog anytime. Doesn’t have to be 30 days prior. I vaccinated my dog the day before we flew across the country and had no problems.

  18. @lyndagabriel6539 on October 22, 2025 at 8:07 pm

Thanks for this! If flying Air Canada, which I intend to do (first time with my dog!), starting 1st June 2025, the carrier must be soft.

  26. @jakobfred on October 22, 2025 at 8:17 pm

I’m having trouble with my dog. He wants to keep his head out of his carrier. Do you think I’ll be able to get him on the plane with his head out of the carrier?
When his head is inside he digs and digs to get out.
    We leave tomorrow

  27. @melodyworldtva on October 22, 2025 at 8:18 pm

I definitely want to travel with my 8lb chorkie (chihuahua/yorkis mix) but idk why im so scared to micro chip him 😒.

  28. @rosemaryranck8004 on October 22, 2025 at 8:18 pm

Can your dog be out of their carrier and on your lap during the flight? Are there places to let your dog go to the bathroom in airports if you have a connecting flight?

  29. @Veterinary-ie9ys on October 22, 2025 at 8:18 pm

@5:30, pet passports are primarily only produced in Europe. EU pet passports must be produced by a veterinarian in the EU authorized to do so.

If the dog potty at the airplane ? How it works?

  36. @maple.everything on October 22, 2025 at 8:28 pm

Hello! What’s the longest distance dogs can fly in the cabin? Like for instance, can we go from South Africa to Frankfurt and Frankfurt to Canada? The issue is what to do when our dog will need to go potty?

  37. @Tinu6 on October 22, 2025 at 8:29 pm

How come video title mentioning 2025 wherein video is 2 years old????🀨

  38. @jpmichael on October 22, 2025 at 8:31 pm

Great video: BUT If you travel to MANY countries, including the United States, with any amount of CBT OIL in your possession, you could: be charged with a criminal offence. this applies to all countries, whether cannabis is legal there or not. be denied entry to other countries in the future

  39. @timothyrglenn9545 on October 22, 2025 at 8:31 pm

Great vid. I’m curious information about dog pee and poop on the airplane and how you handle that for your dog.

  40. @debraderoos5225 on October 22, 2025 at 8:34 pm

how are you allowed to take your dog out of the carrier bag? I thought they were no longer allowed to be removed. How tall is your dog?

  41. @BobSmith-tn2qp on October 22, 2025 at 8:34 pm

    8kg = 17lbs right?

  42. @JNO_JNO on October 22, 2025 at 8:35 pm

That weight is borderline …I would not like to put my pet on a diet every time we may fly. 20 pounds is usually the limit in north America. Recently we flew Rome to Sicily (Catania), and on the return trip they claimed the crate was not regulation. The same crate we have used for the last 6 international flights. After an argument and a great deal of delay we were allowed to board. So check domestic requirements if flying in foreign countries …. In Italy it was more complicated to fly domestic than the international flights. Also it may be better for the dog to fly cargo. Its quieter and pressurized and air conditioned.

  44. @DimaAndNat on October 22, 2025 at 8:37 pm

14 kg in Norwegian Airline but max bag size 43x31x20 and dog must be able to stand and stay inside the bag. Hobe they not so strict with that. Like how you opened for the Head to be out, so you clearly see the dog is okay and can get water. 21 days with the rabias vaccine for them too in Norwegian airline (eu). Just would be nice you could add dog to the ticked Easy online. Nice yo know you can use and bring cbd oil too βœŒοΈπŸ™πŸ˜ use it for my own pain snd stress relief and font wsnt to hibe my dug unesesery drugs eather πŸŒ±πŸ’šπŸ˜πŸ™ sges 12 happy chichuawa good eoth trains busses and cars but the flight will be the first time for her and she might feel my nerves πŸ˜…πŸ™ˆ

I’m trying to take my baby boy, who helped cure my depression to Paris and am so overwhelmed by the restrictions. How sad that a being that helped heal me can’t even come with me to a simple trip 😒😒😒😒😒😒

  46. @debbiebuchanan1145 on October 22, 2025 at 8:40 pm

This ,unfortunately, doesn’t address how to fly with a larger dog. 😒
