Is this good for ear tip wound too?

  2. @Theendhasbegun8 on September 5, 2025 at 6:02 pm

My pugs stomach turned back she has bumps as well. On her back she also has bumps. Amd can not stop asking me to scratch her. Vet said tik or flea allergy tool pills done nothing. I had black mold issues the past 2 years. In spring it’s bad like last year. But this year her skin turned black

My dog seems to be itching on a large area of his hind quarters and frequently rubs against the wooden panelling of the staircase. Can this remedy be thinned for application over a wider area? His coat is very thick, so it is hard to see if any hot spots exist.

Does the coconut oil have to be organic???? What if my dog continues to lick the vinegar and coconut oil?

  5. @ekj24uk on September 5, 2025 at 6:08 pm

Thanks so much. My cairn wont stop scratching and will try this asap.

  8. @Gratitude-u4t on September 5, 2025 at 6:10 pm

Only coconut oil won’t work? Can i use normal vinegar?

  9. @mls3555 on September 5, 2025 at 6:10 pm

You csn use fractionated coconut oil (stays liquid at any temp) & ACV in a spray bottle. Mixing a bit of chamomile tea is soothing to skin as it contains alantoin

I have just found you and I am going to try this. I have a Patterdale terrier and have been to at least 7 Vets trying to find out why he is bitting his leg to the extent it bleeds. We have had a cone on him poor thing for over 2 yrs. he has had several kinds of medications that just dont work. he has had anti depressants and prednisone with no improvement. Right now his belly is red from the waist to his back legs. I have even tried diaper rash cream. What do I do now?? I live in Canada and saw your other video with things to try. but we dont have the gold bond with the 1% medication you show.

I’m just curious if anyone else is having trouble getting the coconut and acv to mix together?

  18. @ritadighent on September 5, 2025 at 6:22 pm

    Doesn’t the ACV sting?

  19. @lauraanhalt7902 on September 5, 2025 at 6:24 pm

    Your advice is the best!

  20. @jimmygeorgiadis600 on September 5, 2025 at 6:24 pm

thank you will try this on my Bear (cockapoo) – he licks exactly the same area as Tullah – she’s adorable – and so patient with you –

The dogs will not be itchy, will not lose hair and will not get hot spots IF YOU DON’T FEED them beef. Only feed them chicken, eggs, green beans, rice or dog food with only chicken as the protein.

  24. @susancallaghan9206 on September 5, 2025 at 6:31 pm

    Thank you so much. πŸ’“

  25. @TheSeji on September 5, 2025 at 6:31 pm

Doc, you make me laugh with your subtle silliness. Love your advice! You’ve helped our family so much. TY!

  26. @johnnyrose6052 on September 5, 2025 at 6:32 pm

The ACV might be way too strong.
My dog can not have ACV on her skin without it burning

  27. @bonnieallen2430 on September 5, 2025 at 6:34 pm

My dog is licking it all off! πŸ˜‚

  28. @KejaJ on September 5, 2025 at 6:35 pm

Thanks Dr. Jones for this video. I am going to try it out, and hopefully, my dog won’t lick it all off as she loves coconut oil. Will this work for itcy paws as well? She bites at her paws all the time and scratches her neck area until it either raw or she breaks skin, which causes it to be scabby.i truly hope this works.

  29. @lisabennett1253 on September 5, 2025 at 6:35 pm

If the itching is under thick fur, like my dog’s front legs, do I shave it first? Or at least trim the fur?

  30. @anjalikashyap7142 on September 5, 2025 at 6:37 pm

  31. @bonnieinthespirit6373 on September 5, 2025 at 6:38 pm

Well I made this 2 ingredient. It’s help immensely !! The pup has stopped chewing his hair off . ( he looks shaved) . The dog food is steak flavored by Purina.. wonder is this good. Trying to keep his weight in tact – he adopted. – he’s an American .. shire terrier . Any suggest ion??

I’ve had success with Manuka honey, my dog’s hot spot is nearly gone

  33. @kayladye1671 on September 5, 2025 at 6:39 pm

Can you do diluted bleach bath for dog?

  34. @mariantreber8055 on September 5, 2025 at 6:41 pm

Could it be used on cats, too?

  35. @dragonfirecms on September 5, 2025 at 6:42 pm

My dog’s hot spot on her front arm, starts clearing up and she keeps licking it again. I’m forced to have her wear a cone for long periods of time. The second cone comes off, she’s at it again.

  36. @djpotnoodle2013 on September 5, 2025 at 6:43 pm

Can you put it in their ears?

  37. @Fezz1020 on September 5, 2025 at 6:44 pm

  42. @patnewson6908 on September 5, 2025 at 6:49 pm

Stop vaccinations, which undermine immunity. Before vaccinations, dogs did not have these ailments if they lived happily within a family – & ate real food.

  43. @sabretooth717 on September 5, 2025 at 6:50 pm

Coconut oil just made my pup throw up

  44. @georgiacinq-mars1899 on September 5, 2025 at 6:51 pm

I’ll try this today. Thank you!

  45. @spirituellebuchermeditatio9264 on September 5, 2025 at 6:53 pm

You are amazing, my dog has hot spots, dry skin and wholes everywhere now, was red and inflamed. With natural this inflammation is gone , but still dry wholes. Bit I think apple vinegar could burn….like the sea, where my dog swims every day. What you think about castor oil and heat (heals all) or raw Kerosin….? Old knowledge of healers

  46. @Kat-n-Ollie on September 5, 2025 at 6:55 pm

NEVER USE BRAGG’S ACV. Bought by Katie Perry and they use Apples with Bill agates Apeel chemical. VERY BAD NOW.
