    Thanks for the advice

I thought Flaxseed is good for dogs? If so why are u putting it into the same category with sorghum, barley, oats rice and calling it lower quality filler ingredients?

  3. @demonicallysane2267 on February 22, 2025 at 9:47 pm

Look at the nutrient profile not the ingredients, that will tell you if the food is healthy or not or if it’s excessive in minerals. Look for foods that are WSAVA compliant, ingredients in boutique foods are manipulated to make the consumer feel good and buy! Listen to vets and board certified nutritionists and not ingredientists that took a course for a few weeks online!

There something wrong with women who think dogs are children.

  5. @richardheckley8413 on February 22, 2025 at 9:47 pm

We don’t have any of these β€œfancy” dog food brands in Canada.

Hi Rachel, What is a good protein level?

  8. @georgevalenzuela2489 on February 22, 2025 at 9:52 pm

Make your own homemade dog food, it’s healthier and make sure to add organ meats.

  9. @ColinMajors-d8h on February 22, 2025 at 9:53 pm

    ….is that $25 for a 10 lbs bag?

  10. @Montessori_Motherhood on February 22, 2025 at 9:54 pm

stop reading the ingredient list. Although this is the most common way owners select their pets’ food, it is the least reliable way to do so. And be careful about currently available pet food rating websites that rank pet foods either based on opinion or based on myths and subjective information. It’s important to use more objective criteria (e.g., research, nutritional expertise, quality control in judging a pet food). The best way to select what is really the best food for your pet is to ensure the manufacturer has excellent nutritional expertise and rigorous quality control standards

What’s wrong with rice? My vet says they need grains to absorb nutrients

  21. @jayati.design on February 22, 2025 at 10:12 pm

Everybody running after protein 24% protein is not low for an adult dog.

I’d follow Dr Rea’s advice instead which is based on scientific facts.

So hard to get a YouTuber dog trainer dog expert to say β€œhey buy this this or this it’s better than all the other things I said not to get”

You stated two food brands you wouldn’t feed. The first was Nutro, but you didn’t mention a second brand. Did I miss something? πŸ€”

  35. @Xxstephenx1x on February 22, 2025 at 10:30 pm

You reccomed a dog food that on average cost 10 dollars a pound. Why is it so hard to find a dog food for less than 5 a pound. Im so sick on not being able to find anything that is healthy without paying more for my dogs food than mine.

Darwin’s natural pet raw. Delivered to your home. It cannot be found in a store. My fussy dogs love it!

  41. @slugsiemuu3201 on February 22, 2025 at 10:33 pm

What do you think about feeding the less great but cheaper foods but adding in actual fruits and veggies to help for what the food is lacking?

The Raw Blends food showed a few β€œmeal” ingredients which I always thought we should avoid due to not knowing what exactly the content of the meal is? Am I wrong? Just trying to learn. Thank you!

  45. @lookylookie on February 22, 2025 at 10:40 pm

You don’t seem to read the whole ingredients panel. Both have far too many synthetic additives revealing low quality ingredients and or cooking methods

  46. @shannongelven9217 on February 22, 2025 at 10:41 pm

How can I get help with my dogs food they both are Standard Poodles! They both were on science diet and stopped eating and one lost 6 pounds! I can afford any food but can’t cook raw! They are on Purina pro plan wet and are not eating that! My vet feeds Purina knows nothing about dog food! I need some real Help! Please I can’t just keep switching food! Now they both have diarrhea like water! I’m begging you to give me advice! I will pay you to talk to me!

  47. @kaobo29 on February 22, 2025 at 10:43 pm

That raw one had chicken meal and you said nothing about it im starting to think you are the politician of dog food. If you said that something is not good its not good in any of the different brand.

  48. @LoriHarshman-l6y on February 22, 2025 at 10:44 pm

Will you do a comparison between Redford and open farms at PETCO or Pet Supplies Plus please. Thank you.

  49. @TheBmonster1 on February 22, 2025 at 10:45 pm

The raw blends have such a small quantity and expensive vs the large quantity foods. Purina with meat chunks
