I recommend you try it, itโ€™s awesome. It seems like Dr Drey doesnโ€™t like natural products.

I swear by manuka honey for skin, burns, pimples, small sores any skin irritation. I use it when I get those open sores around cuticles bc I tend to play with them. Itโ€™s a stress thing. Also on my face to moisturize. Has to be manuka honey from New Zealand. I also use in tea and take a spoonful daily. I usually get the higher grade/number like 550 or 800+. I highly recommend keeping it on hand. It has been my go to for so much

  24. @hba4357 on July 18, 2025 at 4:04 pm

I have a keloid scar from surgery when I was 23. Every now and again, it would become sore and inflamed. I used to spread manuka honey on gauze which I’d tape to the scar and leave overnight. The inflammation always went away by morning.
Also, I used to regularly make a honey and yoghurt face mask and use it once a week. It always made my skin nice and soft. I dont know why I stopped. Oh I know, marriage, kids and a full time job!

  27. @BrianHayden-ee7pg on July 18, 2025 at 4:06 pm

Dr. Dray, I know that honey is antibacterial and I heard that is is antifungal aswell but would fungus (fungal acne) feed on the sugar and grow/reproduce. If so would ketoconazole shampoo or head and shoulders anti dandruff shampoo suffice in counteracting this effect? Or are the antifungal compounds found in honey be strong enough to mitigate the sugar.

  33. @nolacsanail on July 18, 2025 at 4:14 pm

My veterinarian friend recommends manuka or raw honey to help with pet’s incision wound healing and other superficial wounds or abrasions.

  34. @cassie3 on July 18, 2025 at 4:16 pm

My face is allergic to honey. Never again. It works for other not me ๐Ÿ˜ข

  35. @SaoirseS. on July 18, 2025 at 4:16 pm

Honey contains AHA, itโ€™s a humectant & exfoliant. Worked fantastic well until it made my skin over sensitive + breakout and I couldnโ€™t figure out why.
