How do I know what’s the best chew for my dog??

  2. @Chequr_Prostate on February 11, 2025 at 8:54 pm

My lab was throwing up yak chews for 2 nights ( only one a night) they came up in chunks, some sharp. Hyde chews, nightmare.

  3. @mlean83 on February 11, 2025 at 8:54 pm

my dog died from raw hide chews in 2020…… i was devastated and have blamed myself for it after finding out I could have avoided the whole thing. i hate myself for it.

  4. @carriemartin4837 on February 11, 2025 at 8:55 pm

Anytime my dog received raw food she would get Bacteria Clostridium Perfringens. She can’t have raw unfortunately.

  5. @nikkoshay5403 on February 11, 2025 at 8:56 pm

You mentioned raw hide but what is your opinion on beef hide or goat hide chews?

  6. @fredmo3584 on February 11, 2025 at 8:57 pm

I WORK AT A CAR SHOP

I AM A DOG OWNER MY SELF

ONE DAY I SAW A BONE COVERED UN LAUNDRY SOAP IN THE BACK OF A CAR THE LAUNDRY SOAP HAD SPILLED ON EVERYTHING AND THATS THE BONE THEY USE TO TAKE THE DOG TO THE PARK SMH

  7. @rachelbezile6299 on February 11, 2025 at 8:57 pm

Dream bones cause severe diarrhea with my dog.

  8. @Jfresh55 on February 11, 2025 at 8:58 pm

What other brands do you recommend?
    Redbarn? Barkworthies? Best bully sticks?

  9. @briancooper1813 on February 11, 2025 at 9:00 pm

Love your content. It would be awesome if you can offer reputable brands of bully sticks, collagen chews, etc.

  10. @dianneboomer7873 on February 11, 2025 at 9:01 pm

I bought my dog a No-Hide chew, THEN found out they DO contain rawhide! I worried for 2 days because my dog wouldn’t poop. He’d never done that before! I pictured him being rushed to the ER and torn open to remove this “thing”. DO NOT buy these! There’s been a lawsuit open for 4 years against these things! The woman who brought the lawsuit had LABORATORY EVIDENCE there was rawhide in it, but the courts did NOTHING!
Also, “Bento” refillable toys: they cause Shih Tzus to get diarrhea, and it takes DAYS for it to subside! No more for us!

  11. @April3Hung on February 11, 2025 at 9:02 pm

My dog just went through surgery because the yak chew broke off and she swallowed a huge chunk of it. DO NOT LET YOUR DOG CHEW ON YAK CHEWS WITHOUT SUPERVISION.

  12. @ltsjoeyy on February 11, 2025 at 9:03 pm

I gotta sign up to something to see your dog food list ? 😂 thought this was a good channel till then

  14. @JP454757 on February 11, 2025 at 9:04 pm

Hello Rachel, awesome video. What is the best air dried chicken feet for your dog that you use? Brand wise? Thanks

  15. @belindaguzman450 on February 11, 2025 at 9:05 pm

I make my own dog treats I dehydrate them from liver to
Heart to kidney I wanted to know if dehydrated duck feet or chicken feet would make the bone split

  16. @JeffpRRR666 on February 11, 2025 at 9:06 pm

If I buy raw chicken wings and or necks from the local Asian market is there a way to make them safer without cooking?

  17. @evasby4086 on February 11, 2025 at 9:07 pm

How often should you give your dogs treats like bully sticks or yak chews?

  18. @dawnkeatley884 on February 11, 2025 at 9:07 pm

Hard for me as a vegetarian

  19. @gailmckay5551 on February 11, 2025 at 9:08 pm

The yak chew I got chipped off in sharp shards, threw it away.

  20. @feralhomunculus on February 11, 2025 at 9:08 pm

Chicken and turkey necks raw. My dogs love them, and they’re fully digestible. They help to keep their teeth clean, too. I would _never_ feed my dogs cooked bones, though.

Edit: When I had 6 medium to large dogs, I’d throw a whole raw turkey in the yard and let them take turns devouring it. They loved it! I fed raw for the 1st year and a half of my German Shorthair Pointer’s life. My dogs at the time were various ages, sizes and breeds. Not one of them ever had any issues with eating raw. It’s just a lot of work to do it correctly and I needed a dedicated separate meat freezer with that many dogs so I stopped.

Again, if you do decide to feed raw, there’s a lot more that goes into it than throwing them a raw chicken or turkey. They need various vitamins and minerals, etc. that come from different types of meats and added calcium (unless you can grind raw bones to powder.) Once you learn how to do it properly, it’s easier.

  23. @rewildinghope on February 11, 2025 at 9:12 pm

IF you give them for 5 minutes, what’s the best way to safely store the leftover? Can you refreeze? If you can refreeze partially chewed feet, does it need to be finished in 2-3 days for safety like it does if refrigerated?

  24. @izarivera6416 on February 11, 2025 at 9:12 pm

Yes my toy breed get the vomit upset stomach..I get organic ones but she’s sensative belly..she’s a chewer..is coco wood gd???

    ur the goat

  31. @Ricky-mo6mv on February 11, 2025 at 9:26 pm

Anything resembling a rawhide substitute should never be given to your pet. It can cause serious intestinal problems, and we all don’t want that to happen as a result of giving them a treat. My GF gave our Morkie a collagen rawhide alternative dog treat two days ago and we had to bring him to the vet for what turned out to be a pseudo obstruction. He was miserable, couldn’t eat, and was vomiting profusely. It was terrible.

$500 later and our vet was able to turn him around. It was Fieldcrest Farms Nothin’ To Hide Bagels Rawhide Alternative Beef Flavor Natural Chew Dog Treat. Stay away from this product and anything like it.

  32. @Horsespirit777 on February 11, 2025 at 9:26 pm

Rachel, thank you so much for your informative videos. I feed my dogs The Farmer’s Dog.. was wondering about gullet sticks. What do you think about them?

  33. @jeffclark5268 on February 11, 2025 at 9:28 pm

Hmmmm…..who would have thought eating a stinky cattle penis (bully stick) would cause stomach upset.

  34. @anthonycunningham1026 on February 11, 2025 at 9:29 pm

We go with antlers. Have never had a problem.

  35. @laurastage6470 on February 11, 2025 at 9:32 pm

My vet said no raw anything for my aussie

  36. @ProudAmerican10 on February 11, 2025 at 9:34 pm

Elk antlers are probably the best thing you could give your dog to chew and keep his teeth clean you’ll never ever ever have to bring him to the vet to have his teeth cleaned or his teeth polled start out with split antlers so the marrow is showing and then go to a full Adler or should I say a full length piece that is not split your dogs teeth will be as white as a sheet of paper no smell no mess and very good for the dog

  37. @mcconicokeelross63 on February 11, 2025 at 9:34 pm

Question: Can you do a video going to popular pet stores and going over good quality chew bones and ones to notice to stay away from (pet stores like pet smart, petco, petsmart, etc). I go to these stores and want start getting into raw food and feeding bones but don’t know what I should be looking at

  38. @Diana-xm1dm on February 11, 2025 at 9:35 pm

Life itself is a risk…we can be here today gone tomorrow. It’s better to trust God than put confidence in man.

  39. @davehenneman2298 on February 11, 2025 at 9:39 pm

Responsibly sourced bully sticks? Ask the bulls if they agree.

  40. @darkangelo on February 11, 2025 at 9:40 pm

What about beef cheek chips or chews

  41. @RachelFusaro on February 11, 2025 at 9:41 pm

  43. @leeh9520 on February 11, 2025 at 9:43 pm

  44. @snovia1 on February 11, 2025 at 9:44 pm
