Be careful because some animals are very allergic to coconut oil. My friends dog almost died because of coconut oil.

Now I’m pissed because I just went and purchased all the ingredients to another video you posted using, Witch Hazel, Aloe Vera Juice, Organic Cedarwood, Lavender and Lemon essential oils that was quite pricey, All the essential oil are organic and now I am seeing a whole new recipe. so which one is the best?????

  5. @LizAlexy on September 4, 2025 at 5:57 pm

Oh shoot! I just made this – and realized my witch hazel had natural grain alcohol in it (14%), is this a problem dr Jones? Also curious, is the objective to get it onto the dogs hair? It’s strong smelling so I was curious if surface of hair is suitable for golden retriever. I also considered spraying her collar w it, the smell is strong hope I measured it correct πŸ™‚

The witch hazel I have seen has alcohol in it. That burns my dog’s skin when she gets hot spots and has a cyst that busted.

  24. @noeladcock on September 4, 2025 at 6:15 pm

We have no ticks in the yard. What about fleas? does it repel fleas? AND does the smell bother our sweet 4 legged friends…?

  25. @LoveIsEverything2468 on September 4, 2025 at 6:16 pm

Oil and water do not mix. The oils will rise to the top. Also, when you put oil and water together you are going to end up with MOLD.

    It’s TURmeric
    Not TUMORic
It doesn’t cause tumors, it actually fights them.

  37. @Jfresh55 on September 4, 2025 at 6:25 pm

I thought turmeric spray wasn’t fully tested? A small study you reference indicates positive results, but looking at the studies as a whole, I’m not certain it’s the best choice

Lots of Essential oils are toxic to dogs. Aloe is also toxic to dogs.

  43. @loricooper2450 on September 4, 2025 at 6:35 pm

Any citrus oil kills fleas and ticks on contact. Make the house smell nice, too. I’m in rescue, so I have several dogs. 1 Oz of citrus warming or candle oil in a 32 Oz spray bottle, add water, shake the daylights out of the mixture.

  48. @dennisarbeit3793 on September 4, 2025 at 6:48 pm

You had another video were you put four drops along the back of the dog.can u use both applications together. Thank you the spray seems to be working.ive been using it for the past two months and no ticks on my pup. I live in Massachusetts and we have lots of ticks. I’ve tried lots of sprays and none of them worked. So far this one works. And that’s amazing in itself.thanks Doc
