So, we live high up in an apartment. Our male chihuahua pees in the bathroom. Either he will tell us by going to the bathrooom door and looking in our direction and waiting or we’ll tell him to go to the toilet and he’ll go into the bathroom and I’ll go in after him. Then, I’ll hold a small container and when he lifts his leg to pee (he usually goes just behind the toilet), I put the container underneath where it needs to be and all his pee goes into it. I pour that straight into the toilet which I’m sitting next to on a stoll. I flush the toilet and rinse the container with the flowing toilet water, leaving some water in the container. Then, when he goes number 2, I hold the container under his rear end and catch whatever comes out. That, too, goes into the toilet and I rinse it while the toilet water is flowing. Job done, no mess. Better than the system shown here and all you need is an empty container. The one we use is from small 170 gram yogurt container bought and eaten about 2 years ago.
