OMG, Wessie is a muscular beast. He’s so freaking adorable and plush I love him so much. Oh my god look at those meaty thighs I can’t believe how muscular he is or maybe he’s just plush but he is adorable. I have a cat Marley that’s that size and he makes that whole cat tree shake whenever he climbs up because he’s just so freaking big.

i bought the 55” Segawe Cat Tree for 45.00 on ebay .

Last one looks like a fake tree that looks like a tree.

  5. @thecheesycats8073 on December 17, 2024 at 4:28 pm

I love our armarkat that lasted 5 years but I can’t find the company much anymore😢 so I really appreciate your detailed reviews!

  6. @Dumbluck14 on December 17, 2024 at 4:29 pm

They can be massively expensive. I saw one at Mudd Bay that looked like an actual tree! It was cool. I eventually bought one that was created for Maine Coons . It’s a larger tree and the round sleeping places are very large. Still have it.

  7. @WiseAilbhean on December 17, 2024 at 4:31 pm

helps to keep them from relying on tables and counters for surveying

  8. @FoxMonde on December 17, 2024 at 4:33 pm

I would love to purchase a cat tree but with all do respect I would want something that is modern, sleak and safe but mostly not any of these eye sores that you see everywhere.I have modern furniture and actually besides blending with my decor I want it to be beautiful to look at

Has anyone had any experience buying cat trees on temu? And I mean as far as quality and sturdiness go? There’s so much cheaper and with seven cats, I spend a small fortune every month on them for food and everything else. We’ve gone through three amarcat cat trees over the course of about 20 years and they’re phenomenal but the price has increased extensively. The first one we bought on eBay I believe we paid about 80 to $86 for and it’s not the model that’s on here with the hammocks but the 74-in classic that has one house and multiple height flat surfaces for them to lay on and we have not had a cat yet that didn’t love it. It’s next to a window so they get to look out and every time I come up to the house there’s at least two sets of eyes looking at me from the cat tree. It’s on carpet and I found it to be very sturdy although when they jump off and push it will hit the wall but I’ve got 15 to 22 lb cats so they’re not small and this is one of the few that is large enough on the purchase to hold my 22 lb heifer otherwise he would just slide off of it cuz he’s just too big. But I saw the Halloween looking cat trees on temu with the little coffin beds on them and oh my God could you not be cuter than a little coffin bed for cats? They have multiple heights and sizes and they’re really not cheap on that site either with the largest I think I saw was over $120 or something like that which is pricey for that company but I was just wondering if anybody had any experience with any of the cat trees on there because they have a lot of them and some really cool ones I just didn’t want to spend a hundred bucks and get some cheap piece of crap that I’m going to have to end up getting another Amarcat tree anyway.

Stability is more important the larger your cat is, I had a huge tree that was perfect for my 6lb senior. After she passed we got 2 big boys 11-14lb the big tree is no longer stable and sways. I took it apart and made is shorter and more stable. 😊

  12. @maxisenberg9093 on December 17, 2024 at 4:38 pm

any recommendations for a floor to ceiling model? cant screw anything into the walls and trying to save space to it seems like the best option

  13. @jacksond7956 on December 17, 2024 at 4:39 pm

I got a cat tree and it’s very tall, but I feel like my cat is unsure about it because it’s pretty shaky we screwed in everything very tight, but it is still wobbly. Also, beware of getting a cat tree that is too cramped.

  14. @surplusbargains on December 17, 2024 at 4:39 pm

    Very nice and informative video

  15. @maxisenberg9093 on December 17, 2024 at 4:40 pm

Do you happen to have the instructions for the armkat? Have a similar model that I need to rebuilt

  16. @finnabbott6416 on December 17, 2024 at 4:40 pm

I got a decent cat tree for $20. It’s good if you’re on a budget. The tree is 54in tall, so it’s not very small for its price.

  17. @catatonicgalaxy1471 on December 17, 2024 at 4:41 pm

dont invest in cheap crap trees…. all the ones i’ve seen here are really poor quality and won’t last long

  18. @SunnyandCitrine on December 17, 2024 at 4:42 pm

Need a tree for large cats.

  19. @pawshands9706 on December 17, 2024 at 4:44 pm

The good cat trees are so costly. I invent cardboard toys for my 2 girls and a few outside ones.

  20. @julz7753 on December 17, 2024 at 4:45 pm

I wish there was a cat tree with covers you can take off to wash. I can never ever keep the hair off completely. does anyone have any suggestions for that? thanks

  21. @jeffreyphipps1507 on December 17, 2024 at 4:45 pm

I built mine using MDF and 2x4s along a wall. It used carpet squares here and there because I wanted it serviceable. Because it’s along the wall, it’s anchored and can’t tip over.

  22. @dianneallen583 on December 17, 2024 at 4:47 pm

Wish I had one. No room.

  23. @thelifeofzoe9201 on December 17, 2024 at 4:48 pm

I bought 220 meter of Sisal rope for my second stage of catifing my house and expand my first build cat tree which still looks great after one year of usage.

  24. @MikaGinelle on December 17, 2024 at 4:48 pm

I tend to prefer buying solid wood trees or from Cat Tree King. Mostly so it’s double safe when my cat has the zoomies.

  25. @bonglord430 on December 17, 2024 at 4:49 pm

If your cat tree isn’t stable try using washers!!!

  26. @R.robins on December 17, 2024 at 4:50 pm

I like my cat tree my cat like it too which is more important. 🙂😺

  27. @marilynmcnair2336 on December 17, 2024 at 4:50 pm

Thank you , I bought a cat tree and my guys love it, they jumped on it before I could put it together and tighten the screws. My question is about a cat litter box that is extra large. They all seem to be standard size and I have a cat that is twelve pounds and he does not seem to be happy in the cat litter box. Where can I buy an extra large box or is there such a thing?

  28. @melody1096 on December 17, 2024 at 4:51 pm

I have 3 heavy big cats will they hold them and last

  29. @mieroth on December 17, 2024 at 4:53 pm

Also worth noting that for quite a few cat trees (especially tall ones) you should be anchoring them to the wall for safety. If you – like me – are unable to do this you need to be especially careful with the tree you pick. I wanted a tall tree but knew I was getting two bouncy cats, so stability was top priority. Ended up getting quite a heavy tree that looks a bit similar to the first one in this video – but in the two bottom layers there were 4 columns on each level. So since it’s both heavy and the weight is evenly distributed them running and jumping on the tree doesn’t move it. You don’t want a light/flimsy cat tree in this case even if it’s easier to set up.

  30. @Albertcorrice-f5e on December 17, 2024 at 4:56 pm

I have a tabby cat named doune lion

  31. @sophiac5335 on December 17, 2024 at 4:56 pm

Sorry if I missed this but which one would you recommend or what I should look out for when I have a cat that has no claws up front? Great video by the way!

  32. @YoriichTsugikuni on December 17, 2024 at 4:56 pm

I brought a cat tower called 65 bhairroston cat tree for (133$💀) form wayfair it was SOOOO CUTE I LOVED IT MY CAT LOVED IT

  33. @Pinkielover on December 17, 2024 at 4:58 pm

Best cat tree is to make your own

  34. @SimonJntk on December 17, 2024 at 4:59 pm

I don’t want to buy Chinese made anymore.
I bought one but it was collapsed only after a couple of weeks so off it went to the rubbish bin – what a waste!
Can anyone please recommend any other good products, other than the Chinese made.

  35. @jarl_fontan on December 17, 2024 at 5:00 pm

Not only am I the litter robot for my house, I am also the tree/scratching post due to my oft worn plushy robe and tree like shape. I am quite the cat product.

Pros: I offer a large comfy hammock that can fit multiple cats. I have a multidirectional design in that I can offer some height when used vertically, but also a much larger, soft lounging surface when horizontal (i noticed none of your recommendations in this video offer the horizontal option). My scratching areas are, for the most part, self restoring material that should last several years, and the toys attached are fully interactive due to rudimentary ‘smart sensors’ that track the position, mood, and play needs of the cat. Fully self cleaning. I am made of organic, sustainable, all natural materials.

Cons: No condos. Rather loud. Not too stable. Requires an energy source when in vertical position, or when smart sensors are in use. Smart sensors CAN be easily damaged by aggressive cats and do not work without proper lighting. Manufacturer does not provide replacement parts.

  36. @pennyloafer3358 on December 17, 2024 at 5:01 pm

I have five cats and none of them will use a hammock or condo. They want sleeping areas with squishy foam underneath and a bumper around the edge. They’re very hard to find on trees.

  37. @rfcbass6810 on December 17, 2024 at 5:01 pm

These are all garbage that never last long. Don’t waste your money.

  38. @uhavemooface on December 17, 2024 at 5:02 pm

If your paying over 140 for a cat tower it should have good if not the best stability. That should be the part that any cat tower maker should invest into when building them.

  39. @thomasfokas on December 17, 2024 at 5:03 pm

Question? Why is every goddamn cat tree made with that ugly beige carpet? Why do you have to spend hundreds and hundreds on some custom made one without that ugly beige carpet? Also, if I pick one up off of Etsy, I have no idea what the quality is like after spending 100s of dollars I really wish a company would mass produce some that aren’t so ugly and tacky.

  40. @alexhardao2742 on December 17, 2024 at 5:07 pm

Thank you for the clear comparison

  41. @Scottlp2 on December 17, 2024 at 5:09 pm

Thanks for all your videos. Hey-brother looks like a good brand if you haven’t run across them.

  42. @theresaroussell919 on December 17, 2024 at 5:10 pm

My male cat it tall & very long so most cat trees are not big enough for him to lay on.

  43. @thescottishcyclist4640 on December 17, 2024 at 5:11 pm

Was there a video on cat trees here? Dunno I was just watching it for the presenter lol

  44. @capripanther on December 17, 2024 at 5:13 pm

I’m surprised Cat Tree King didn’t make an appearance. Their cat trees are AMAZING. They the sort that will last years, so sturdy and they’re great for big cats. The sisal is also glued on, so the scratching posts won’t come apart if one bit is used a lot.

  45. @fludrbywest3886 on December 17, 2024 at 5:14 pm

Thank you so much for all your information ❤ wow 😮 great information❣️

  46. @HennyWho_7 on December 17, 2024 at 5:15 pm

Try making a cat scratching post labyrinth that runs up a wall vertically….just screw multiple cat scratching posts together horizontally and apply sheets and towels separating the spaces cats love to be concealed so don’t be afraid to put a sheet from da floor to the ceiling

  47. @AncoraImparoPiper on December 17, 2024 at 5:16 pm

When I started to explore cat trees for my second cat who is a huge climber, I also discovered that most commercial cat trees have not been designed for cats at all because access to the different levels is difficult except for the most acrobatic. I bought one cat tree which is very high but only built it to half height to allow easier access. I’ve not decided to build my own cat tree ( easy for me since I love woodworking) which both of my cats can easily climb and connect it to my bookshelves and other high furniture items that will make it more versatile for both of my cats. Glad I didn’t buy any more of these badly designed cat trees.

  48. @LLCwr41th on December 17, 2024 at 5:18 pm

Rufi drapaki, only ones I buy. Expensive but indestructible!

  49. @gatopardoantico5657 on December 17, 2024 at 5:18 pm

thank you yet pity metric system not used

  50. @Meyoufavoriteperson on December 17, 2024 at 5:19 pm

This was helpful but I don’t think a lot of these meet the picky requirements of my 12 cats. Which maybe 3 dont even use the one I already have. But this really will help with getting my next one. Thank you!
