It can be effective on lip fold pyoderma?
Thank you so much! 40 drops of tea tree made a Huge difference. The vet told me to use chlorohexidine shampoo and it would work but only lasted a few days. Its been a week and my dog has no smell, no oily fur, and she is not itching.

Hi, I have a South African Boerboel (Mastive) and have been struggling for months now with her face, I’ve had her to several Vets and all give me different answers and medication. Nothing has helped. I have changed her food numerous times, she is only eating out of stainless steel bowls. I wish I could attach a photo for you to see. It looks like dog acne around the bottom lip (red and looks sore) and now a spot of her bottom lip has also started to go from pink to white. Advice would be greatly appreciated so that I can help her feel better.
Thank you!!!

Driven me insane daschund she is 8 years old unspayed her problem is she loves to pee in her bed and lay in it, so its got so bad now she can have no beding at all, felt sorry for her tried again and back to peeing and seriously inflamed pyoderma as in bleeding, so no bedding no pee, i tested in crate too, no pee at night as long as no bedding of any kind padded puppy pad she doesn’t pee on so some dogs may leak urine in their sleep and there is no medical condition, so its the way its got to be and also an Elizbeth cone is saving her life from licking chewing (her other fav habit) as well as 2 weekly baths using paddiepaws anti fungal/bacterial shampoo, she is looking alot better, also going to try what u have recommended continuing into the future, already use codliver oil but i use krill so wats mine is hers too, she on a high quality gluten free diet cause i’m a cealic too we don’t eat any processed foods or the so called gluten free processed foods either.
I was able to avoid another round of antibiotics for another skin infection using the shampoo (only two baths during the three weeks, but it made a noticeable difference immediately), the oral coconut oil, and the three supplements for about three weeks, thank you so much!!!
Thank goodness I found this site. My 2 & 1/2 year old Pitbull had been suffering since 7 months old from severe pyoderma. At apx 8-9 months a vet put him on apoquel, but only seem last a good 6 months or so,then he kept getting skin infections. Vets repeatly over & over putting him on antibiotics & sometimes steroids. Hes currently now another infection & now pyoderma has returned. The apoquel is not helping anymore & really want get him off it, I never had a issue with him itching to start with,it was just the pyoderma would get sores & look bloody. I would like to know can I take him off the apoquel? I want to try your recommendations & see if my baby improves. He also has gi issues because of vets when he was a puppy repeated over & over using antibiotics. He is on a prescription diet Purina EN gi food. I have a really hard time finding any other food he can handle without him having vomiting or diarrhea. What is the best dog food for allergies & gi issues as well, that wouldnt cause any issues? What is very best probotics I could put him on? I know his immune system is low. My poor boy has suffered so long & I need help desperately,he feels so bad😢
Hey Doc, thanks for these natural remedies! Duke had a bad groin rash that wasn’t improving with vet prescribed DouxoS3 Pyo. I decides to use plain Aloe gel and the change was fast!
thank you so much
We moved and the backyard soil is full of sand. Our dog is 13, developed horrible crusty patches, lost hair, itchy and skin turned black. It just keeps coming back. Im going to try all of this. Thank you!
My dog is small. How can I give her these larger meds? She’s on liquid atopica now because she refuses to take the pill.
Thank you Dr Jones I finally tried this shampoo after buying Project Suds ACV blend and also tried Chlorhexidrine shampoo and both did nothing at all but your tea/ACV shampoo made my 5yr old GSD, Knight, so happy because he got so much relief now! He was full of rashes and crusty sores and I felt so sad for him. But also giving him quercetin and garlic with powerful probiotics! I’m praying he is in the road to recovery! Thanks for your wisdom and natural remedies 🙏🏾

I m in urgent need .my pug is suffering a lot
Dr Jones ,when you apply that twice a week you didn’t rinse out the castile soap???
Thank you Dr Andrew Jones
Thank you so much for this insight!!
Tea tree oil can be toxic to dogs.
Please help. I can’t find quercetin or olive leaf extract in such small amounts. Where do I purchase?
Nothing worked..I had to get antibiotics..poor dog had a fever and was losing weight
Your labrador is just too cute!
Man I love this Vet. He’s describing my dog. I spent 600.00 to have him see a board certified allergist vet. Antibiotics, medicated shampoo and a strict diet with rabbit being the only meat. HA! Try to find rabbit meat, it’s not easy. He was doing better, then exactly like Dr. Jones said, his rash came back! I refuse to over use antibiotics and don’t vaccinate so I will make his treatment.
Bio active Quercetin 100mg per 50lbs daily. Olive leaf 100mg per 10lbs daily.
Is there an alternative to tee tree essential oil if I don’t have that at home
i don’t have enough money to buy products for my dog. is coconut oil enough?
Thank you very much Dr. Jones for your this great service. Is olive oil good to apply on the infected area of the skin? Please reply as soon as possible?
I do follow a lot of Dr jones but my dog had pustule and then that aggravated till his scrotum had pustules and then his groin and spreading. That was when I stopped all the home remedies and took him to a vet. They prescribed antibiotics and a spray which I am confident will get him better. Point is please don’t keep on wasting time with home remedies that is never strong enough for bacterial infections. Just see a vet. While it is great to get all this information , you still need to have a trusted vet who can physically examine your fur baby.
Update: the vet prescribed simplicef half a pill every 24 hrs . He has had only one pill and all is drying up and crusty and looks so much better. I was just making it worse trying home remedies.
My dog has pseudomonas and I have been battling this for over a year . I am desperate. 1 year taking antibiotics and every time the antibiotic is over the infection is coming back
What about pet moringa balance? I’ve been hearing a lot about that helping with allergies…
Yes! Educate us 😍 I’m so happy ive found this channel. Can’t wait to see more 👍
2:24 where can you buy Castile soap?
Can we use these on nose wrinkles of pug, it’s moist there
Thank you! I’ve been so worried about my girl! I was doing coconut oil and her back and belly looked much better, but her neck would get better and then worse. I’m
Using the enzyme shampoo too. But I’m just glad/hoping it’s not worse. She does have a vet appointment in a could of weeks though.
The coconut oil applied to my dog’s groin made the little red spots much worse. Should I keep applying it?
So this mixture of the black tea, tea tree oil and apple cider vinegar and Castile soap gets sprayed on ALL areas and let it dry?? Mix it all together right? My 206lb Double Merle Great Dane(4yrs) has been suffering from this staph infection now that I see pictures she’s identical and the vets have just been treating her for allergies. She just had steroids which is just made her so thirsty she can’t hold her huge amounts of urine and is stealing everyone’s food. I had to stop after one weeks worth. No one ever said it was this infection. She had allergy tests done and she’s allergic to 5 grasses, beef, chicken and Turkey. Please help. These raw, crusty spots are destroying her fur. She does NOT itch though. Thank you
I tried making the shampoo twice and the soap curdles everytime. The vinegar and soap are reacting and curdling. Is this normal for the recip
What about a puppy who has been itching chronically since we brought her home from the pound we noticed in the car she was itching. The vet said she had nothing that she could towel but as time went on she is now six months old itches all itches all night. And her skin feels hot.
I have her on krill
I feed her raw/ cooked
I use coconut oil
(Maybe I need to use it more) I have tried homeopathic’s now I’m giving her CBD. I just don’t know what else to do.
