As someone who’s been keeping snakes for their whole life I strongly recommend to stay away from ball pythons (ofc this is just my opinion) sometimes they hunger strike for 4-6 months out of the year and you end up wasting a lot of money on food and they don’t really let you know when they’re gonna start eating again, instead you should get a pearl island or hog island boa, gets the same size as a ball python, come in color morphs in my opinion and are a lot more active plus they never turn down food boas are great eaters

    1. Leopard geckos do have eyelids, and are actually the ONLY gecko species that does 2. Bearded dragons are NOT a beginner reptile.

beardies for beginners? uhhh….no. sure they’re easy to handle, but there’s 2 things that can make some beardies owner flustered: their diets and respiratory infection. their diets are vary. if y’all don’t have a picky dragon, good on ya. but if you do, good luck. and there’s this respiratory infection thing. one afternoon their chilling on their rocks or hammock, and then one day, they stopped moving aka dead. so if y’all wanna buy beardies, make sure you asked everything about them in DETAIL. and i mean it.

for geckos, yeah kinda agreeing on that. those suckers may small, but their tough like nails. all you need is a water bowl and a bunch of crickets. and they’re you go. you’re good as new. my geckos been with me for 5 years now, and their still fuckinh healthy.
