This isn’t safe–animals raised for meat, even organic, accumulate lead (Pb) in their bones from their feed (grass, soy, corn, hay etc.)

What about e. coli? I was feeding raw and my vet said if our dog licks us in the mouth we could get e. coli, if they have it. And what about oxalates in spinach?

Everyone says that you can use freeze dried raw as part of their daily allowance of food for training. What is the best way to do this with rehydrating it? I nred to rehydrate otherwise it is too high of fat for my guy, but when I do that, I am not sure how to incorporate it into my training as sometimes treats are tossed or laid on areas i don’t want to have to clean

I’m housebound due to disabilities. I can’t shop at a pet store. There are no local pet stores in my area that carry Bones & Co. even if I could go to a local pet store. I would LOVE to be able to order it and have it shipped to me, to feed my service dogs/emotional support dogs, but nobody will. And I don’t have anyone else that I can have pick it up for me. I have no friends, and my family is not willing to drive for hours just to pick up dog food for me. I’m not the only one who is housebound due to disabilities. I think it is incredibly discriminatory for you to only sell it through pet stores that don’t ship anywhere.

It’d be nice if they had stores in Dallas Texas considering the food is made in Austin Texas. Such a shame

  19. @caliesampaio on July 12, 2025 at 3:27 pm

Can’t find it in Canada 😢

  20. @lizettet.7883 on July 12, 2025 at 3:28 pm

Love Rachel! Going to keep my eye out for a distributor closer to Columbia SC.

  22. @donneece2593 on July 12, 2025 at 3:36 pm

Can you use this as a food topper/supplement without adding liquid to the food? I am using this as a topper dry with my dogs kibble.

  23. @ouronia1 on July 12, 2025 at 3:36 pm

I forgot to add that the pup is a small female havanese.. as adult only 9-10 lbs!

Hi I have a 18 month English Cocker Spaniel witch which is already on medication for allergies, and would like to know what would be the best selection of food to start off with ?

  25. @itimmy101 on July 12, 2025 at 3:39 pm

Wow…didn’t think i’d see the day! I tried feeding my dog the patties, but she didn’t like them. maybe she’ll like the freeze dried food because we actually give her freeze dried treats that won’t spike her BG. Can’t wait to try this!

  26. @cathybaker875 on July 12, 2025 at 3:41 pm

Hoping our dog likes this. He’s so picky & he has gone off brands like Farmer’s Dog, Viva, … We’ve spent & wasted so much money.

  27. @GloriaG47 on July 12, 2025 at 3:48 pm

    Good for puppies?

  28. @janelle4700 on July 12, 2025 at 3:50 pm

I really wish I could switch my dog to raw or freeze dried raw😢 my dog is allergic to some proteins as well as squash, pumpkin, flaxseed and some fish which is literally in every raw diet.. idk if only raw bones, meat, muscle, organ is balanced but freeze dried just seems easier.😖

  29. @sharonblaszak on July 12, 2025 at 3:51 pm

This is awesome. I’ll be able to use this when I travel. I hope you add Duck! That is all one dog can eat.
