You should’ve seen our dogs face looking up at us eating up her dog treats as they got done! ๐Ÿ˜‚ These are great, and I added coconut sugar, and cinnamon, and did the easy canned pumpkin version. Sweet potato is next! My dog definitely knew they were hers, and she enjoyed them. Thanks!!

I made these yesterday for my dog and had to sample them, lol. They were so good that today Iโ€™m having to replace the batch that I mostly devoured yesterday. I exercised portion control for the dog but not for me!! Today Iโ€™ll be making one batch for him and one for me so I donโ€™t have to raid his stash!

Thank you for the awesome healthy recipe and lovely presentation. This is quality content and I love your kind and gentle demeanor. Iโ€™ll be checking out your other content for sure!

The first batch I made I put in for 15 minutes and they were not as hard and crunchy as I wanted them. My second batch I decided to put them in the food dehydrator and they came out hard and crunchy. Thanks for the recipe.

Cutting biscuits into a bone shape is not for the dogs. It is for humans. Dogs are much smarter than that.

The recipe link doesn’t work just so you know. Also, your website doesn’t work for some reason. Everything I clicked on didn’t do anything or take me to any recipe. It just sits there.

  25. @normneeb9809 on May 13, 2025 at 11:39 am

I made there with a silicone mold and they worked just as well. I made little gift for the neighborhood dogs and little holiday cards to go with them and they all loved them. Happy Holidays.

Blended oats made the flour? Or did you mix the oats with flour before you blended?
If so what kind of flour did you use? Just regular white baking flour?
We have a lot of dogs in the family and my daughter is wanting to make treats for them. Thank you for sharing!

  37. @terrapinflyer273 on May 13, 2025 at 11:53 am

Before you even said it, after listing the ingredients I was thinking, ‘You could sub out the sweet potato for pumpkin!’ So cool!

I’ve been wondering if canned salmon or salmon that comes in a packet could be used in a treat recipe. According to the label it looks like there aren’t any potentially harmful ingredients, at least in the brand I buy. But with processed foods (intended and regulated for human consumption) you just never know. Not sure if it’s worth the risk.
