Wish I saw this earlier. I’ve been totally using the toys wrong.

  2. @tatyanafittipaldi on April 11, 2025 at 4:10 am

Thanks for the video! I loved how you organized the content and concepts to be structured and intentional, which is helpful for people like me who needs structured and schematic instructions for greater understanding. The visual aspects and practice session was also great to exemplify the concepts. Nicely done.

I have a 5 months old Australian Shepherd puppy. He’s been destroying all of the plush toys. Thank you for this video, a total game changer now. I subscribed and very happy I came across your channel.
    Merry Christmas 🎄🎁

I take a towel and roll up his food in it and then put a loose tie. He hast to first loosen the tie and then get to the food.

My Bullies and Rottweilers always loved plush toys for cuddling. Sooo sweet!
My last Rottweiler, who was 69 cm in shoulder height and good 50 kg of weight, was treating them like a mother dog would treat her newborn puppies. He could choose one of them every day.
I have my current Rottweiler puppy since yesterday, and most of the time he is working on his hide bone, but I also introduce the plush toys for cuddling sessions.
My current puppy is being raised to be my PTSD service dog, just like the last one was. So it’s very important to teach him how to use hide bones and kongs for stress relief.

I would like you to make a video on interactive toys. My dogs always get how these work very fast. Especially my Australian Cattle Dog was annoyed when he was presented the same interactive toy again after he had figured it out. So it would be also nice to have some new ideas for DIY interactive toys.

I’m still confused about the plush toys. So they never have them as free access?

I bought kong dotz (red doughnut shape with black dots) but my dog avoids them. Maybe because it’s a dental toy and only when their teeths are itchy?

  17. @janicepulve2346 on April 11, 2025 at 4:28 am

Great job with your content and videos. Thank you!. What toys would and recommend for a 4lb Chihuahua?

Question…I just rescued a bait dog about 3 months ago. She still has no desire for toys or treats, and she’s destructive. Both chewing and bathroom in the home. How do I get her interested in a chew toy if she rejects the food inside?

  20. @jdaniels1313 on April 11, 2025 at 4:32 am

My Malinois girl loves tug-of-war to-the-death so much that we have some plush "tough" toys she loves to play tug of war with. GoDog brand. However, she has mostly torn a paw off of each one, at the seams. I do appreciate the examples and tips, though. She also has some plush toys she likes to carry around but doesn’t seem to destroy. A "Mr. Bill" toy for example. She will carry him around and chew-squeeze him to get him to say, "Oh NOOOO!" Now all it needs is a self-record feature, so we can make it say, "Oh NOOO, it’s Jackie Sluggo! She’s gonna be mean to me!"

  21. @jesshothersall on April 11, 2025 at 4:34 am

Thanks for much useful info. I’m a bit puzzled by the plush toy though, what is the dog supposed to do with it? Is it just to lie in their bed as a companion, or can they carry it about? Somehow I’ve missed that vital bit of info

  22. @kristysiqueira4072 on April 11, 2025 at 4:35 am

Super useful and implementable advice. Thank you ☺️

  23. @chrelimar on April 11, 2025 at 4:35 am

Great video! I am curious, though – if not to tug or rip apart, what’s the point of the plush toys? What does a dog DO with them?

  24. @DHall87 on April 11, 2025 at 4:36 am

I found this video very interesting 🤔😁

  30. @sd99944 on April 11, 2025 at 4:41 am

How do I chew toy train my dog who doesn’t get interested in kongs? I feed him with toppl toys but he won’t go for kongs, and doesn’t really go for other chew toys or dental toys.

  31. @teresacook3724 on April 11, 2025 at 4:42 am

Thankyou very much for this advise

  32. @steeltrainerschu5808 on April 11, 2025 at 4:43 am

Can you ever let them have the plushy and them treat it like their baby doll?

  33. @Cattensu on April 11, 2025 at 4:43 am

We had a dog that was taught to treat his plush toys nicely. He passed away at 11 year of age this July. His favorite plush toy that he got for his second birthday now lives among my plush toys in rememberace of him.

  34. @richwhippersnapper on April 11, 2025 at 4:44 am

Rawhide toys should be avoided. These can cause health problems.

  39. @geekfreek108 on April 11, 2025 at 4:54 am

Might try this. My 9 month old only wants to chew and rip up plushies and lot of her other toys are more for outdoors. I tried putting the toy away when she starts chewing bits off or ripping it but that didnt work. Ill try this method now. Might also help with the cat!

  40. @iangeorge7913 on April 11, 2025 at 4:55 am

I’m curious what enjoyment the dog gets from the plush toys or how they interact with them if they’re not to be rough with them

  41. @Blessadablessa on April 11, 2025 at 4:56 am

Just got a puppy and I’m SO happy I found this page

  46. @a_simple_channel on April 11, 2025 at 5:02 am

That makes so much sense now 🥴 all the stuff toys have been violated ahaha

  47. @DakotaOrbin on April 11, 2025 at 5:03 am

i love this advice!! and it sure is a learning point for me! but i do have a question, my dog (7yo pitbull) is high anxiety and he feels super comforted by carrying stuffed toys everywhere with him and then he will tear them apart after a few days, and we will throw it away and he is digging at the trash and barking, so we get new ones, what js a good way to get him to not to destroy the toys he so desperately loves😅

  48. @SereneStreamsandRelaxation on April 11, 2025 at 5:05 am

    so good, thank you

  49. @hijidltkr on April 11, 2025 at 5:06 am

your videos are so easy to watch, i greatly appreciate them! videos from other trainers are good too, but it’s really hard to retain the information with the long and extended presentations.. so this is honestly great for people like me who may have issues with such things!

  50. @mayusalgado4950 on April 11, 2025 at 5:08 am

Omg Ive been with my puppy for 3 days now and I can’t thank you enough for these videos!
